The city's electronic scene has seen its evolution over the years, resulting in a very rhythmic and deep techno artist. After more than 20 years of career, Lauriola has become a well-known producer and has released for labels such as: Faut Section, Planet rhythm, Materia, Polegroup / Aine, Edit Select, Gynoid, Children of Tomorrow, Suara, Out of Place , Blackrod, Animal Farm and their productions have been performed by important artists such as: Oscar Mulero, Chris Liebing, Slam, Rodhàd, Joachim Spieth, Tensal, Rebekah, Kr!Z, Cleric, Alex Bau, Lewis Fautzi, Dasha Rush. In addition, Michel has performed in important venues on the South American and European scene such as: Under Club (AR), Cocoliche (AR), CroBar (AR), Sala Loop (COL), Club 184 (COL) and Tresor (GER), The Art School (UK), Razzmatazz (ES), Utopia (ES).

Dorian started to collect electronic music vinyls around 2000. During the long process to found his style he experienced a lot and various factors affected and influenced his decision.
One of those important milestones was the encounter with a Hungarian dj who had his record store, which was the way Dorian found the records from Oscar Mulero, Exium, Reeko, Takaaki Itoh that made his commitment to techno for a lifetime.
Due to his talent he gave his first gig during the summer in 2004.
After that he has been actively playing music for a decade and was lucky enough to share the stage with artists like Space Dj'z, Speedy J, Takaaki Itoh, Regis, Gary Beck, James Ruskin, Inigo Kennedy, Bas Mooy just to name a few.
Nowadays he focuses mainly on music production.

A label where precision and musicality occur hand in hand with the intention of creating timeless pieces, outside the passage of time, sounds you can enjoy as a delicatessen over the years.

Music is all about connections, and is at it´s most vital when it speaks to you  in a voice only you seem to hear. For Berlin-based Refracted, electronic  music, and techno in particular, is the chosen medium to find his unique  voice, to connect. And a growing number of people, wanting more from  techno than formulaic entertainment and a soundtrack to dance to, are  connecting with his particular vision and peculiar sound. This might be  because Refracted´s music feels as fundamentally human as it sounds  otherworldly. It is techno more as an idea and conduit, than as an easily labeled sound. It is dance music where layered rhythms act almost on a  neural, sub epidermal level, while moving and evolving soundscapes  acquire a tactile, understated physicality. Paramount examples of this can be  found on releases on Refracted's own Mind Express label, and on  celebrated labels like PoleGroup and Canadian ambient/deep-techno  imprint Silent Season. His path unravelling further, a mind set on favouring  unflinching quality over quantity. 
The dynamics created by this yearning to displace us from space and self,  while rooted in a elemental, naturalistic approach, which catalyzes inner self  discovery, are also at the foundation of his DJing. Spiritual, almost  meditative, his sets possess a kinetic energy as well, which is a clear  indication of a DJ who knows the fundamental role of dancing as part of the  ritual. He wants to take us somewhere, the “where” being of our own  choosing, the trail never being the most travelled.
