We’re approaching the end of 2022, a year in which a lot has flourished and we were allowed to dance with you again without restrictions! To close off this year we’re back with the annual December Series where we invited four artists to showcase their sound, every week until the new year starts.

The penultimate podcast of the year will be provided by the France-born Berlin-based artist, Olivia Mendez. Olivia is a record proxenete, dealing grooves across territories her unique sound can reach. Developing her sound continuously, Olivia showcases a vast musical inspiration across genres in her selections. Her sets are a cross-pollination of the old school with the avant-garde, aiming to keep the magic encoded in music alive. Olivia is also the founder of the FLINTA collective KONVENT, intending to create positive spaces to reinvestigate and elevate the discourse on contemporary feminism, through site-specific music and art intervention.

With their powerful sets at various famous clubs such as Kater Blau, Kit Kat, :// about blank or Mobilat, Antic Soul proved many times how to create a long-lasting vibe and distinctive club experience. 

Their own label project, Entourage Concept is a platform which enables them to release music in various formats and to connect with artists around the globe. It's a community with room for all — not caring about gender, origin, sexual preference, or any other label which aims to keep people inside a box. Instead, our identities often influence our sounds and journeys and teach us lessons in life and music. 

Besides events in venues like About Blank or Fiese Remise, Entourage stands for quality releases with focus on fast and dubby groove techno. Their last charity compilation, #thesceneagainstwar, featured up-and-coming artists like Baugruppe90, Nicolas Vogler, Ackermann, Elad Magdasi and many more.

Black Mirror Park has played DJ-sets at clubs and events like ://about.blank, Institut für Zukunft, Anomalie and many more. He's released tracks and EPs on KONFLKT, Entourage Concept, trau-ma and Front Left Records amongst others. His next release will be an EP called „The Great Filter“, out on Dessert Berlin's (a party series at ://about blank and a label) new sublabel „Is Serving“. MYRA is a Dutch Techno DJ and producer with pure passion and an ever evolving taste for electronic music. Her signature is up-tempo groovy rhythms with hard hitting percussions, and hypnotic atmospheres with a trippy touch that dives deep. MYRA is a graduate [2022] of the Electronic Music Academy at the conservatory of Amsterdam where she honed her musical and creative capacities. At the conservatory she discovered her fascination for analogue gear, that she now use intensively as a producer. Her artistic journey is just starting to unfold, propelled by a mindset and drive to push boundaries, and aiming to become a live act in the near future.

Elisa Batti sets are purebred techno, ranging from hypnotic and deep to vibrant, groovy and energetic. When she plays, she always strive to add her own personal touch, leading the crowd through a journey. 

Elisa Batti has acquired her experience in the music scene not only as a DJ but also as a producer, sound designer, and tech developer for theaters, festivals, and art installations. She has released music on numerous labels, exploring everything from straight 4-on-the-floor techno to more abstract glitchy and ambient sounds, always careful to craft her own unique sonic palette. Her work as a sound designer has taken her around the world, from the Palais de Tokyo in Paris to the Taiwan National Theater, among other notable venues where her creations have been showcased. Additionally, Elisa Batti is the founder and label head of Immaterial Archives, established in 2018, which has since featured many talented producers from the techno scene.

Elisa Batti is a polyhedric artist that roots her career on a very heterogeneous background. All her activities though can be summoned under a few simple words: electronic music, art and technology.

For her music is art, music is culture and this is at the foundation of her love for techno.
