From raves in both their homelands to releases on SK-eleven, HAYES, Room Trax and positivesource, as well as a shared residency for Vault Sessions that’s brought them here for Bassiani Podcast 210, the duo posit a deep and driving compound of high-voltage rhythms in their day-to-day praxis. Slamming techno that has claimed a rightful space among the greatest names of their generation. Layer by layer, an instinctive formulation of heaving basslines and delicate hi-hats balanced with utmost precision. It’s a seamless communion of complementary worldviews in respect to sound, a rich tapestry of ever morphing loops. It’s focus on gradual build, a slowly evolving chimera in lieu of schmaltzy instant gratification. Lady Goccia (Alessandra Mendicino) is a DJ and producer from Crotone, born in ‘99. She moved to Milan in 2018, started her career in 2020, and later studied music production at SAE Institute. Her sound blends Berlin techno with tribal, hypnotic, and ‘90s-2000s house influences. She has played at top Italian clubs like Cocoricò and Magazzini Generali, sharing the stage with artists such as Fjaak, Dasha Rush, and SPFDJ.
