So I fancied uploading something for the new year, something live and pumping to get the blood moving in the cold. This was recorded by Chris from the shop back on one of our May day parties in 2023. It was an absolutely amazing night, and this was one of the most fun times I've had playing records anywhere. Love the woods <3

I didn't upload this for ages, as in the haze of the wee hours I played the wrong side of a record at a key point and it bums me out when I hear it back! However, it does also include a point where somehow I managed to convince the police to turn around and head home without missing the mix out of the record...which is a pretty good memory

It's only an hour - we try and give the whole crew a chunk of time at the May Day parties. So it's just jam packed full of late night heaters. This was a fun one.

Nicolas Bendeck, born in Colombia and now based in France, presents in collaboration with the Berlin producer and talent scout Moodfreak "Izanagi", 
a driving progressive house track that sets the dancefloor on fire!
We're excited to welcome him to our languages music family and share his music with you.

Izanagi is an important god in Japanese mythology.
He is one of the creator gods and is considered the father of many other gods.
Together with his sister and wife Izanami, he created the islands of Japan and many gods. Izanagi is also known for his role in the birth of the sun goddess Amaterasu.
His story is closely tied to Japanese creation mythology.
