Chisari is a newcomer DJ and Producer from São Paulo, Brazil. He is also the founder and curator of Refuge, an independent collective that focuses on pure techno, with a solid emphasis on groove and rhythm. 

In his sets, you can always expect the unexpected, as he always tries to change moods and styles, so you will never know if he's going to play a tribal, dub, hardgroove, hypnotic set because he's always trying to merge those things together and create a unique vibe. But one thing is sure: you will always dance and be delighted by an amazing storytelling.

PITCH.1, a core and Resident DJ of the Tech Clubbers collective, is the techno persona of Vincenzo Montalbano. 
His journey into the world of clubbing began during his time in London, where he was influenced by the vibrant house music scene. 
His frequent visits to clubs in Berlin infused his DJ sets with minimal and dark undertones. A devotee of 90s techno, PITCH.1 incorporates elements of acid, Detroit, and industrial sounds, punctuated by breakbeat interludes.

BIO:
Moved by a Passion for Electronic Music sparked by her experiences in the dance scene of her late teenage years, TIKOA begins her artistic journey as a DJ in her early twenties.
After a short initiation of playing digital Music, she soon discovered the art of mixing vinyl to be her most true form of expression.

Since then, she has been expanding her record collection and developing her sound:
Unrestricted by expectations and preconceptions of genres, her research of sound is focused around peculiar elements and distinct grooves, proudly giving space to anything which conveys an unconventional feeling.

This versatility allows her to handle a wide range of dancefloor situations, sifting through thumping beats and bouncing grooves while keeping an unmistakeable sonic signature.
In most recent times, she has proved her dexterity on multiple occasions:
From setting the right mood at opening sets for her residency with Berlin’s Disconnekt collective,
To upholding high energy through extended closing sets in the basement of Tresor Berlin

Today marks the start of a new chapter for both Embodiment and its new and thereby fourth resident: Rosillon. This fresh talent, born in Rotterdam, will represent our beautiful city with a vinyl-only podcast made for SALON.

For Rosillon it's all about the ‘little’ details at the right moment. His choice of records is most unique, which in this podcast results in a deep dream accompanied by hard kicks. He aims for tight sound transitions and technical perfection to obtain a beautiful and fluid dynamic.

To give you a little insight we have asked Rosillon why he started his musical journey:

"About two years ago I discovered the beauty of vinyl. Having a physical piece of the music you love, especially in this digital world, arouses a feeling in me that I can’t explain in words. After attending Freddy K’s panel discussion during last ADE, about the importance of keeping ‘the chain’ alive, I knew that besides collecting I wanted to learn how to share the music I love with like-minded people. To achieve this I spend a lot of time practicing the art of DJing with vinyl over the last couple of months and I’m proud to show you what I’ve learned so far."

By acceding as a resident of Embodiment, Rosillon will contribute to broaden our vision and the accompanying sound. Each of our residents guards their own musical identity but at the same time they represent what Embodiment stands for.
