Peace on Earth was born from the need to turn music into a space for unity, awareness, and a collective call for peace. The project began with an original track by Bodaishin & Lupe Republic, composed more than two years ago. Eight artists from different corners of the world offered to reinterpret it, working with the same stems but translating them into unique emotions, processes, and perspectives. The result: 10 diverse interpretations, united by one message. With the support of Proton, 100% of the profits from this compilation will be donated to Doctors Without Borders, directly contributing to their humanitarian work in the most affected areas.

The whole melodic-technoid thing might be well established already. However, believe it or not: Seth Schwarz and Westerby take it to a yet another level. Their track Aphelion has truly symphonic dimensions and opens a hidden bonus stage in the heads of the dancefloor. Here you can easily lose yourself in a morphing maze of kaleidoscopic patterns that is the multi-layered flow of the melody. Excellent fuel for collective high-altitude flights. NordFold & Budakid provide a remix for all those who prefer it a bit more minimalist, whereas Mollono.Bass lives up to his signature style and pushes Aphelion a notch further towards boost and pressure.

Das melodisch-technoide Ding mag sich bereits bestens bewährt haben. Aber, so unglaublich es auch klingt: Seth Schwarz und Westerby heben es hier nochmal auf ein ganz neues Niveau. Mit Aphelion stoßen die beiden in symphonisch-technoide Dimensionen vor und öffnen dabei in den Köpfen der Tanzfläche ein verstecktes Bonus-Level. Sag & Tre is proud to present the first volume of the "Freshly Picked" compilations featuring a range of hand-selected music to kick off the New Year, 2019.

Featuring scene stalwarts signed to labels/collectives such as All Day I Dream, Anjunadeep, Rebellion der Traumer, Dream Culture, Where The Heart Is + more, the compilation is set to turn heads, and stay in your record box for a while. The compilation also features a couple of newcomers, who compliment the entire piece offering something new, instead of deducting from the experience.

Elias Dore is the next announced artist for this compilation. Originally from Berlin, Elias explored many facets of music, but what has over time stayed with him is his love for melodic warmth and organic sounds. Elias has been trusted to provide warmup support for Rampue, Nico Stojan, Mira, Nicola Cruz, Holger Hecler and many more. While he regularly plays in Berlin’s well known clubs such as Sisyphos or Katerblau, he recently picked up some producing boots and made this beautifully unique composition called “Ayasa”.

This is one of the many Sag & Tre fruits off the compilation, all to be revealed before December 25th, when the compilation is up for pre-order. 

Artists like Powel, Jean Caillou and Ramiro Rossotti have already been announced to appear on the compilation. “Freshly Picked Vol. 1” will release on all digital stores and streaming services on Friday, January 4, 2019.

"When we first heard "Do You Feel It" by Soundsation back in 1996 we immediately fell in love with the tune, as did John Digweed who went to proclaim it as his favorite track of the year on Pete Tong's Essential Selection! Well, 23 years on and we have brought in a whole roster of progressive house talent to get on board for some sublime reworks of this classic...
Part One kicks off with Framewerk's take. Crisp chunky beats pave the way for a syncopated bass and rasping synths, layered with filtered effects, taking us to the main vocal drop in true club fashion.
Willscape is up next and delivers a remix that manages to stay extremely respectful of the original mix with it's synth and vocal refrains but takes it to today's production level of pure progressive house.
Third up and Matt Black combines rolling bass, stabbing synths and solid rhythms which seamlessly work together taking us to a truly euphoric breakdown which kicks back in to great effect.
BLND TGER utilizes the originals melodies to a fantastic consequence. Pulsing percussion and driving bottom end lay the foundation for a drop of huge proportions - a proper club cut!
Last, but most definitely not least, is Tuxedo. He steps up to the plate to create his "Dreamy" remix - a warmly blissed out cool progressive houser perfect for those sunnier moments.
So, all in all, we feel something for everyone here and worthy contenders to be played throughout the summer... Part two to follow..."

In traditional Chinese culture, qi or ch'i (simplified Chinese: 气; traditional Chinese: 氣; pinyin: qì About this soundqì) is believed to be a vital force forming part of any living entity. Qi translates as "air" and figuratively as "material energy", "life force", or "energy flow". 

Qi is the central underlying principle in Chinese traditional medicine and in Chinese martial arts. The practice of cultivating and balancing qi is called qigong. Believers of qi describe it as a vital energy, the flow of which must be balanced for health. Qi is a pseudoscientific, unverified concept, which has never been directly observed, and is unrelated to the concept of energy used in science (vital energy itself being an abandoned scientific notion).
