You wouldn't want to know how long I've been working on this. This song is from the MARVEL movie Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gVUWmpMhdek). I heard this song in the theater and instantly wanted to remix it. I started the next day.

I worked really hard on this one (24+ HOURS!!!). I even asked the co-founder of Cymatics if he thought I should change anything, and he said that "Your production is really dope, and I like the remix a lot. It has good energy. I'd run with what you have tbh, it's already really good imo." The project file is SOOO huge, and the CPU was pretty much at 101 the whole time, so I had to start listening to it by exporting and then going back and making changes (which took forever)! I had a really good whistling idea, so I recorded that (the whistling isn't only my recording; most of the main whistle sound is digital) and then added some big brass and some Mexican style trumpets for the drop, some mallets/marimbas, and I kept the original guitar loop (I did amp it though), because it gave it a nice mellow feeling. I also recorded my own guitar loop (which I played myself, literally having to learn the chords for the first time, and spending over two hours trying to get it right). I also recorded my own banjo loop. I really like tropical style stuff, so I was kind of going off of a tropical house vibe the whole time. Because of this, I didn't need to change the BPM or the key, because it was already where I wanted it to be! I was also inspired by some old songs like "Big Rock Candy Mountain" which I heard in "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" for the beginning part with the guitar and whistling. 😂😂 Overall, I'm pretty proud of the happy, bouncy feeling I created.
