Mess up Mash Up

The song that launched a thousand gifs. I made this track in 2004, which is around when I started putting animations on the internet. At the time my computer was always running out of memory, much like my own brain, so this was a kind of nostalgic reminiscence of a life lived mostly playing video games.

No More Memory

From my moo video, I made this in 2007. It sat around for a few months before I had the idea for the video, so the two aren't conceptually related, though its hard to hear it now without thinking of giant robotic cows fighting with aliens.

Something else

This track was made in 2008, and then sat on my computer for a year and a half waiting for an animation to join it. 

Meow

Inspired by mathematical chaos, I made this song in 2009. It took half a year to end up in a video. I can't actually read or write music or identify time-signatures, I just keep throwing notes at my computer until it sounds right.

Cycles

I called this track "Oddity", though it will forever be associated with my Cows & Cows & Cows video. Someone pointed out to me that the time signatures are prime numbers, which I'll have to take their word for.

This song happened along around the same time as the video in 2010, though as usual the visuals were inspired by the music rather than the other way around.

Walks of Life

One of my favourite tunes, it sounds like a mental illness. While the video version ends somewhat suddenly, this version has a fade out at the end, which is how it was originally. 

Baaa

This song was made on and off throughout 2011. It took a great deal of walking away from and coming back to before it sounded right. The accompanying video features my then recently deceased cat, who I felt deserved some measure of immortality on the internet.

Welcome to Kitty City

Man, this song had a tortured birth. I started working on it in 2010 and it took about a year to get right. Half a year later it appeared on a video about a universe of spiders.
