Boyish - Shadow of You

A side from the upcoming 7" by Stars on Fire, the project of American Cristoph Mark, who is now based in Seoul, South Korea! Mark who had previously released records in California with the wonderful band Ampersand has been crafting wonderful pop songs under the name Stars on Fire for a few years now, releasing some classic records for labels like Jigsaw, Old Bad Habits and Emma's House Records. This new 7" takes the band's sound closer to the  classic indiepop sound that we all love but with the band's own trademark style. The 7" includes two songs, the catchy, upbeat, "Ready, Steady, Go!" on the A side and the Sarah-esque "Angel in White" on the B side. We are very happy and proud to release this new record on 2021, our second this year, trying to beat the pandemic when it comes to releasing wonderful music! Nothing can stop indiepop!

Based in Tlalpan, in the south of Mexico City, he’s been writing and recording jangly guitar driven songs inspired in 60’s bubblegum pop, soul and “the sound of young Scotland” since the beginning of 2017.

A side from the upcoming 7" by the Leicester, UK, band Dayflower! For their debut 7" single release they have paired an extensively reworked, brighter, bolder mix of 'Sweet Georgia Gazes' with the anthemic live favourite 'Daisy Age'. Tracking of the basic ensemble performances and early mixes of both songs took place at 2Fly, the studios of Sheffield based producer, Alan Smyth. This brand new mix reverts to Alan's crisp, punchy production as its core, embellished with additional vocal harmonies and atmospheric instrumentation by the band. In short, it is how 'Sweet Georgia Gazes' deserves to be heard.

This is the first time Verandan gets a release on vinyl, previously they had released singles in digital format and also a self-titled 2017 EP. This first 7" will include the brand new "Hideaway" and last years digital single "Pink Clouds", both being brilliant if we can say so. The superb melodies and lyrics composed by Ville Hopponen (ex-Cats on Fire) shine with their own light, conveying unique elegance and smooth arrangements.  This is a great release after a slow 2020 when we didn't release any vinyl due to the pandemic, hoping to start the year with a bang!
