To celebrate the 40th addition to our catalog, the extended "Remodeled and Reworked Vol. 1", we look at some of our best moments with a second remix collection.

"Remodeled and Reworked Vol. 2" picks the label's most exciting recent tracks, from OY's "Akwaba", Gaspard de La Montagne's "Pôle" to Kylmyys' "Very Jeremiah" and the exclusive Larytta's "Broken Leg Theory" cut. Then gives them some brand-new spit 'n polish from four of our favorite artists, Glaswegian Dam Mantle, Italian house producer Bottin, techno labemate Isolated Lines and Creaked's newer artist, My Panda Shall Fly.

One of house music’s most in demand producers and remixers delivered the goods for Hypercolour’s 100th release.  KiNK aka Strahil Velchev nailed four cuts of genre bending bangers for the label’s milestone release on the ‘For The People’ EP.

For the second installment of the ‘For The People’ remix series, Nikki Nair and Elli Acula weave their signature styles into new interpretations of KiNK’s title track.

Nikki Nair supplies the damage with a sound mangling, bounce-laden banger, as Elli Acula turns up the temperature with a killer rave weapon.

Following cracking releases on Nervous Horizon and 3024, London-based Ehua draws for the drums on her GuduMix 🍊

In Ehua's words: "My contribution to the Gudu Mix Series is a 'percs and breaks' inspired mix. I wanted to create an organic progression from percussive techno to more deconstructed rhythms by blending club textures with a raw - almost orchestral - feel, where the first and last track share a similar vibe but sit at opposite ends of the sonic spectrum."

This month I was joined by Olive T, a producer and DJ from New York who has released on Nervous Records and Permanent Vacation, played at Elsewhere and House of Yes, and had mixes on The Lot Radio and NTS. She get 12 tracks into a 30min mix and does a beautiful job of it too - listen from 1hr 30.

A month since the potent release of 'Captivated Heart: Remixed' from Canadian producer Hrdvsion, Creaked Records gear up to issue their second extended player from Geneva-based producer Owelle. Presenting three tracks, 'Entwined Synergies' EP delivers a synthesis of club-oriented electronic music spanning acid, breakbeat and IDM. Our pick from the EP is the opening track 'Magnetic Kins' - a brazen mechanical patchwork of bass-heavy breaks, squelching TB-303 bass lines and future resonating oscillations. The track reaches its zenith in the final minute, culminating with a cyber-baroque outro.

For the RESONICA REC. number 6, we are honoured to welcome Kalabrese, a very talented artist that has been crafting his sounds since a long time. 
 
Sasha Winkler (aka Kalabrese) does not need much introduction. Last year, during the ATTO project festival in Lausanne (now called RESONICA), he graced us with his sounds while the last sunglight was warming up the dancefloor - a moment in time to remember. Thank you for this. 

He is one of the most glittering characters in Zurich’s music scene and long lasting owner of the famous Zukunft Club. He has his very own style as a producer, creating a stir around the globe. Not to forget, his band “rumpelfunk” performs in a very special way - the stage is usually filled with various artists, who perfectly synchronize and where creativity and spontaeity have their own space. Please go listen to „let love rumpel part 1“ and „let love rumpel part 2“, a marvellously light and warm dance. The music goes to the hip and to the heart and automatically we start to dance. It is very clear, through his passion and dedication, Kalabrese developed his very own signature sound which feels like coming home and diving into his universe.
