This album was made out of passion by a duo of artists entirely dedicated to their craft. The process was the product; the exploration of the sound in itself and the humanity in their selves was the goal. Now that they emerge from this project, they are excited and rejuvenated in sharing the time capsule that they have sculpted with anyone who would like to listen. 

Cloud Crest's first album explores the love, hope, and fear all wrapped up in process of coming of age. Stained Glass blends acoustic and electronic elements to create a unique immersive listening experience. The performances are compellingly honest and vulnerable; the songs and themes tastefully interwoven. The result is a refreshingly authentic work of art in an ever complicating world.

We recorded this project in a church that was repurposed as a performance space in Herrick, South Dakota. Some of it was recorded in front of a live audience. Thanks to them for the great sing-a-long and thanks to Marty Watson for all she does to maintain the beautiful space!
