"Phoenix Lights" is Cloud Cycle's come back single after 1/2 of the duo spent time off recovering from a serious illness. Phoenix Lights were a series of widely sighted unidentified flying objects observed in the skies over the south western states of Arizona and Nevada on March 13, 1997. The song is homage to that UFO folklore, about a similar experience the band had. The chorus loudly sings "Floating in circles, appearing in front of me, outside our time".
