My daughter wanted to do this song with me, so we did it for her birthday.  I sing the bridge because I'm insanely uncomfortable with having an 8-year-old singing about making love.  :)

I've been wanting to cover this song from the first time I heard it, but I just haven't been in the right creative space for it. I knew I wanted it to sound loud and messy, and a little narcotic. Blame a lot of that on the Line6 Otto Filter....and LOTS of reverb. Robert is one of my favorite songwriters, so this was also a little nervewracking! Hope I did you proud, buddy.

I was testing out my setup for possible YouTube video making, and started playing familiar chords, and the next thing I know I'm recording a Cure cover. Hmm. I love the Cure, I just hope that they* forgive me for what I have done to this song.
