A Soundless Echo is an epic space rock melodrama and a loose prequel to Light Speed Collision by Def FX. The lyrics deal with a ruthless invasion of an old civilisation and the few who escape in the hope of off-world resettlement. 

The anguish in the main female vocal inspired the lyrics and the helplessness of the invaded civilisation. It is the first track I have added vocals to, and i ended up doing 2 lots: one in a normal voice, and the other as a cyborg!

Chasing Shadows

This is probably one of the darkest Cloud Hex tracks in recent memory. The lyrics delve into the twisted mind of a stalker as their offending escalates. It has some nu-metal elements in the verses with the guitars adding heavy ominous textures as opposed to complex riffing, Yet such a dark track somehow manages to heavily feature a vocoder (think of Daft Punk's "Lucky") along with a slew of other melodic electronic elements culminating in a Super Mario style keytar solo! You have to hear it to believe it, but trust me, it works!
