Cloudive returns to Silk Textures with a triumphant follow-up to his previous "Feelin Lovin' / Try It Again" EP. Better known as Trance & Progressive talent Aleksey Yakovlev, Cloudive has successfully re-invented himself as a veritable threat in the exploding niche of deep house. His latest effort, "I Wanna Know," is another smooth and groovy after-hours gem, centered on a titular vocal hook. A classic deep house bassline helps to guide the listener along, as well as a variety of atmospheric pads. The one and only remix in the package comes from fellow veteran Zan Prevee, whose last remix for our imprint received radio support from Above & Beyond. A chunky groove gives his rendering plenty of dancefloor appeal, while a variety of light arps and vocal stabs fill out the mid-range.
