Newborn is a love song about loving someone so much that you want to have a child with them and then having a child with them and the dreams and aspirations you have for that child as you hold them for the first time. The lyrics are inspired by observations of Rien and his wife's relationship, the news of his new arrival and of course by Jim's experiences of the birth of his two kids.

A big hitting rap rock and synth track with harmonies in abundance  written to give hope to those who have lost loved ones or are facing difficult moments. Jim suggests we should hold onto life because like sparks from the embers of a fire at night, no matter how hard / limiting it gets there is always one more perfect moment that makes life worth living.
