I call this piece, a cluster bomb of mayhem, fuelled by no sleep and lack of engineering at 3am in the morning. It's an old track from 2 years ago. I've managed to master it to a reasonable level, sadly the music session had an outdated vst which caused major issues but im glad to bring this back to you glorious people.

Take a break and listen to something fun and entertaining. Roll the windows down and enjoy your journey. Its been a fun concept I was tasked to make outside my comfort zone of dance and disco.

‘Sacrament’ – By Cloud Stalkin feat Cat sunset
I want to give a big thank to everyone who has supported the making of this track. I bent your ears, I asked for your time and you all gave it, to help me find what you all wanted to hear. 
‘Sacrament’ is a project I and my good friend ‘Cat sunset’ collaborated with back in January. I wanted to bring back some elements of my last work whilst blending Cats’s unique vocal range and creative lyrical flow. 
‘Sacrament is an electrifying fusion of disco, rap, and EDM that transcends genres and delivers an undeniable groove. With its infectious basslines, smooth rap flow, and high-energy synths, this track takes listeners on a journey through the past and the future of dance music. It's a celebration of rhythm and sound, where classic disco vibes meet modern rap swagger, all wrapped in a euphoric EDM package. 
"Sacrament" is the anthem for those who crave both nostalgia and the new, making it a must-have for any playlist.
BEHINDS THE MIX
BPM - 129
The vocals are leading the pack. The elements were probably the most difficult to blend in to the mix. They have a high sweep range from 500hz to 4kHz rolling off in to the 8kHz frequency spectrum. Using Fab Q3,the F6 floating band eq and the L2 limiter, I could maintain the dynamic range by controlling the muddy end and hi hiss at the top. Due to complicated nature of doctoring 3 ranges you need space for error. Also the vocal range is constantly evolving throughout the track. Using a vocal rider and a surgical eq I did my best to remove the occasional pops. These were due to the vocals being recorded in another studio with electrical and performance issues from the equipment. This wasn’t apparent until we came back to CS studios.
The effects used were ‘Sound Toys’ effect rack and the plate reverb also by ‘ST’ . Modulating the parameters gave the desired effects whilst not over using in the mix. Less is key here. 
Side chaining was going to be task as vocals effect the percussion and also the sub bass whilst pushing through the lead guitar. Subtle use of FAB C and FAB 3 to control the dynamics whilst not compressing the entire mix. Go FAB 3 seriously, much better to use than a compressor (Sometimes).  
Side-chaining the entire mix took months to adjust, fix, look and learn new techniques but moreover I got there.
