Cloudy Galvez - Distance

The first single from my forthcoming series, entitled One Energy. The opening track, Karma, talks about my experiences of negatively charged people, and my liberation from that lifestyle. As it's the first to be released of a new direction for me, it retains the pop, commercial feeling I had created in my last EP, 'Dust Under The Rug'. The upcoming tracks in the series emphasise my custom tuning, and have incorporated the heavy improvising style I use in recording sessions.

Cloudy Galvez - Karma

This is the second track from my series, entitled One Energy. This track talks about the discrimination I see and read about, against people just like me, all over the world. This includes people of the LGBTQ+ community, hispanic or any other ethnic origin that isn't Caucasian, women, and others that face injustice in day-to-day life. The message of this track rings most true to the message I hold as not only an artist, but a human being: we are one race, so let's all give each other the respect we deserve.

Drifting is our first track of 2019.  I wrote this song during a particularly unstable time during my life, so it seemed fitting to release it during a very politically unstable time in Britain.

Cloudy Galvez - Drifting

This is my second track of 2019, Flavour. It's about the pressures of social media on our youth, who are idolising internet celebrities that are heavily stylised and edited. What we're seeing on socials is a five minute snapshot into someone's life. It's not the whole picture, it's just that person's preferred pieces of themselves. It's what they want you to see. This is a track about my riddance of that culture of comparison, and a hope to encourage a return to real human moments.
