"The great snow blankets the entire land, creating a suffocating feeling," KUAN @kuan1 described "Major Snow" while presenting the 7th mix for the Orbitinging series. He characterized the mix as "perfect for a quiet late night, in this cold weather, with a small light on, lying in bed, and listening through your headphones."

As a resident DJ of PURE G from Taipei, KUAN is passionate about the atmospheres and futuristic sounds created by spatial Techno, IDM, and irregular breakbeats. He is also a familiar face in Taipei's underground electronic music scene.

KUAN specially selected "Void" by Formant Value from the mix to share with us. He remarked that the track's overall tone evokes a dark and mysterious atmosphere, yet interspersed with a feeling of the sun slowly rising. "It symbolizes the hardships of modern life. While challenges and setbacks are inevitable, there’s always a way to overcome them," he explained.

Now taking a break from a busy period, KUAN expressed his desire to start learning music production. He also mentioned that the upcoming New Year’s Eve event is worth looking forward to. "The line-up is absolutely amazing," he added with a smile.

KUAN特別挑了混音中由Formant Value所創作的「Void」與大家分享，並提到此曲整體音色給人一種陰暗、神秘的氛圍，卻又穿插彷彿太陽緩緩升起的感覺，「暗指現代人生活不易，總有遇到不順的時候，但問題一定有辦法迎刃而解」，他這樣說道。

近期忙到一個段落的KUAN表示，想開始學習編曲，他也透露即將到來的跨年活動值得期待，「Line-up非常地讚 > <」他笑著補充。

Cloudy Ku is a Taiwan-born, Australia-based DJ, Producer and label head of HER 他 @hermusicequality & 速度 @speed_bpm . A breathtaking catalyst in the electronic music scene, her DJ sets bring her sublime soundscapes to the underground music scenes throughout Asia and Australia.

 As a DJ, she fuses her vast love of techno, trance and experimental music into her own unique IDM blend. Ku also hosts a fortnightly radio programme on Hong Kong Community Radio.

Now based in Naarm / Melbourne, Ku is inspired by a different culture and a luscious electronic music scene, continuing the momentum that has earned her the attention of both music fans and international labels alike.
