«R.I.P Daddy» is a collection of 5 tracks blending genres and textures, exploring pop as an hybrid form of expression, abrupt and sincere. The EP mixes different soundscapes and atmospheres while taking us on a journey harmonized with tones and attitude. 

The writing process leads the narrative between empowerment and struggles, dedication and pain, growing as a dynamic balance between fun and provocative statements, uplifted through kicks and variations. «R.I.P Daddy» is a long story short told in a fragment of lines and a few takes, bounced in millennial references and a glance of irony, low-key contemporary and truly yours.

@satindecompostela navigates explorations of esotericism, sexuality, memory and fiction. She is exploring queer femxle-identified narratives and deprogramming patriarchal structures by enlisting femme aesthetics to do a labor of it. Polish DJ and producer, whose sounds are driven by examination of frequencies and vibrations, and their capacity of altering the states of being, followed by the belief that music originated from healing rituals.

Following releases on Eternal Dragonz and Gãy, ONY’s Children of the Apocalypse was produced after a return from Vietnam in late 2019, through multiple lockdowns, up until the present day. 

Children of the Apocalypse takes its name from a documentary about the enduring multigenerational destruction caused by the US military, who dumped Agent Orange herbicide over a third of Vietnam during the War. Circling personal narratives and family migration throughout the EP, the cover artwork is a portrait taken by ONY of his grandmother in her old flat in Montpellier, where she moved to as a refugee alongside his grandfather and their seven children. Defined by its heavily textural atmospherics and cinematic composition, Children of the Apocalypse serves as an attempt to in ONY’s words: “soundtrack the video game I will never create and a reflection on my family history, what it means to be Vietnamese in the south of France.”

ONY (Thierry Phung) is a DJ and producer who has been crafting stories on his genre-bending monthly NTS show since 2015. He mines whatever he finds to craft an immersive and strange musical environment. His shows are by turn dark, ethereal and uncanny, often all at once.

The artwork for this compilation is an homage to Maria Prymachenko. On February 27, 2022, during the Battle of Ivankiv an approximated 25 original works of Prymachenko were destroyed in the Ivankiv Historical and Local History Museum. To express our solidarity, the artwork depicts the creature from Prymachenko's painting: "May That Nuclear War Be Cursed!" (1978).
