Turkey’s Procombo debuts on CLR with the ‘Upscale’ EP

Istanbul’s Procombo arrives on Chris Liebing’s CLR for the first time, dropping the two-track ‘Upscale’ EP 18th July 2025. The title track sees the RX boss deploy a nimble and precise cut that, despite its heavyweight low-end punch, glides smoothly over evolving synth loops. It’s muscular, meticulous, and perfectly engineered intensity.

'Be Alive' is a rolling juggernaut of a track built for shadowy warehouses and heads-down moments. Dystopian sirens wail through the mix like warning signals amidst flickering neon ruins. There’s a constant sense of unease, a creeping tension that builds and builds brilliantly, closing out a package already supported by the likes of Peder Mannerfeldt, Emerald, and Elisa Bee.

Procombo has been a pillar of his native Istanbul scene since the mid-90s, as a DJ, producer, and label head of RX Recordings, an offshoot of the influential former RX Istanbul club he helmed. He's well known in heady Techno circles for his work on Radio Slave’s Rekids label, Planet Rhythm, and now Chris Liebing's legendary CLR.

Founded by Techno pioneer Chris Liebing in 1999 and relaunched in 2021 after a five-year break, CLR has featured heavyweights like Shlomi Aber, Dubfire, Flug, and Bjarki, while championing rising talents including Risa Taniguchi and Klint.

Björn Torwellen returns to CLR with the ‘Codebreaker’ EP. It follows up his debut ‘Binary Fate’ release, which kicked off the label’s 2025.

Cologne’s Björn Torwellen is back on Chris Liebing’s CLR with the ‘Codebreaker’ EP on 8th August 2025. It follows January 2025’s ‘Binary Fate’ three-tracker, Torwellen’s first foray onto the label, which won support from the likes of Luke Slater, Truncate, Dave Clarke, and more.

Supercharged drums hammer and shake in Björn Torwellen’s ‘The Overstayer Protocol’. The air hums with raw electric power, zapping through soft dub chords that tumble in the distance, offering a glimpse of another world while its industrial groove rattles on. Title track ‘Codebreaker’ then sees the lasers ride pounding kick drums, building in intensity before dropping into head-warping, brutish and futuristic synth hits, closing out another EP of excellent Torwellen sound design for CLR.

With a career spanning over two decades, Björn Torwellen is known for his discography on labels such as De-Konstrukt, Nachtstrom Schallplatten, nonlinear systems, and CLR. He also heads the German-based educational platform SINEE, offering masterclasses, guides, feedback sessions, and more alongside artists such as Luigi Madonna, ANNẼ, and DEAS.

Japan’s Risa Taniguchi returns to Chris Liebing's CLR. The ‘Break It’ two-tracker marks her fourth appearance on the label.


Tokyo’s Risa Taniguchi returns to Chris Liebing’s CLR with the ‘Break It’ EP 29th August 2025. The two-tracker follows her previous outings on the label, 2024’s ‘Wakes From Coma’ and ‘So Loud’, which earned support from Dave Clarke, Kelly Lee Owens, and Luke Slater, and 2022’s ‘Acid Flesh’, in collaboration with Black Asteroid.


Title track ‘Break It’ sees Kneaded Pains, Second State, Mind Medizin, and core CLR artist Risa Taniguchi open with high-intensity built around pounding kicks and a searing synth stab. The tension is palpable as icy hats and bold low-end drive forward beneath evocative spoken vocals culminating in a dark, strobe-lit roller primed to lock in peak-time floors. There’s no respite with ‘Give Me Up’, a tense and relentless follow-up laced with razor-sharp percussion, unresolved loops, and a monstrous, rumbling bottom end. It’s precision-tooled Techno, designed to hit hard, both physically and mentally.

Japan’s Risa Taniguchi continues her streak of releases on CLR with the ‘Wakes From Coma’ EP. The tastemaker returns a month after her last outing on Chris Liebing’s label, 'So Loud'.

Risa Taniguchi’s 'Wakes from Coma' two-tracker on Chris Liebing’s CLR is a powerful piece of frenzied techno, with looming synth stabs and incendiary hi-hats piling on the pressure while its rolling beat powers on. The hard-hitting 'Mental Rut' ups the stakes next with distorted walls of noise, hammering kicks, and swirling synth textures that obscure the chopped-up vocal stabs. Klint returns to CLR with the ‘Kaos Temple’ EP.

French DJ and producer Klint follows up his ‘Immersive Culture’ EP on Chris Liebing’s CLR with the ‘Kaos Temple’ two-tracker. After having made his debut with the Klint project in 2021, he has made a significant impact in the Techno scene already, with an impressive list of releases on labels like Planet Rhythm, RSPX, Truncate and many more, as well as support from artists like Rodhad, Blawan, and Dave Clarke.

Klint’s ‘Kaos Temple’ on CLR boasts tumbling techno chords, building in anticipation as atmospheric sound effects dart about the mix above, subtle but sturdy rhythms guiding us through the track. ‘Dethroned’ continues, drum machines punching through as hard-hitting claps catch you off-guard. Dubfire & Flug join forces for the ‘Magma’ EP on Chris Liebing’s CLR imprint, landing 27th September 2024. The EP marks SCI+TEC boss and Deep Dish legend Dubfire’s debut on CLR, with Argentinian techno lynchpin Flug returning to the label for the first time since his ‘Sincrodestino’ EP in 2014.

Dubfire & Flug’s ‘Magma’ EP on CLR starts with the title track, which sees crackling dub hits echo up top whilst deep low-end courses beneath its steady groove. ‘Magma’ is a raw and overwhelming force destined for late nights on powerful systems, enthralling dancers with its cavernous drops and frenzied soundscapes. ‘Friction’ then eases us in with whirring, electrifying acid as distant synths inch closer, culminating in a shadowy and hypnotic warehouse cut. CLR welcomes back DEAS for the ‘Maniac’ EP. DEAS returns to Chris Liebing’s label for the fifth time this November.

Poland’s DEAS kicks off his ‘Maniac’ two-tracker on CLR with title track ‘Maniac’, featuring deep, sub-heavy rhythms accompanied by techno stabs that dart playfully over its groove. Chris Liebing’s long-awaited remake of Emmanuel Top’s 1994 classic ‘Turkish Bazar’ arrives on CLR this December. Initially released via the Le Petit Prince label, ‘Turkish Bazar’ is an evergreen club hit, now painstakingly rebuilt by Techno powerhouse Chris Liebing, with each musical element reforged to create an essential new version.

Liebing’s version of ‘Turkish Bazar’ features the instantly recognisable spoken word vocal of the original, while he ups its unmistakable 303 with an additional dose of acid. Raw, unfiltered licks are in tandem with pounding drums as airy pads and dainty sequences aim to soothe dancefloor madness. Extensively road-tested by Chris Liebing and blessed by Emmanuel Top for release via CLR, this is a mammoth revisit that lives up to the original’s timeless appeal.

Shlomi Aber drops his latest ‘Limelight’ EP on CLR this February. The Southern returns to CLR with the ‘B2basic’ EP. The three-track EP includes a remix from Chicagoan Techno legend DJ Rush.

The Southern returns to Chris Liebing’s CLR this March with the ‘B2basic’ EP, following his two-part ‘Particle’ EP on the label in 2024. Up first is title track ‘B2basic’, a fully-charged cut laced with a wigged-out acid line, primed for peak-time club action. Then comes Chicago’s DJ Rush with the remix, a thrashing interpretation defined by layers of syncopated high-hats whilst a brooding synth guides you into a sense of warehouse rave nostalgia. DJ Dextro returns to CLR 16th May 2025 with the follow-up to 2024’s ‘Motivo’ EP. Japan’s Risa Taniguchi returns to Chris Liebing's CLR. The ‘Break It’ two-tracker marks her fourth appearance on the label.

Tokyo’s Risa Taniguchi returns to Chris Liebing’s CLR with the ‘Break It’ EP 29th August 2025. The two-tracker follows her previous outings on the label, 2024’s ‘Wakes From Coma’ and ‘So Loud’, which earned support from Dave Clarke, Kelly Lee Owens, and Luke Slater, and 2022’s ‘Acid Flesh’, in collaboration with Black Asteroid.

Title track ‘Break It’ sees Kneaded Pains, Second State, Mind Medizin, and core CLR artist Risa Taniguchi open with high-intensity built around pounding kicks and a searing synth stab. The tension is palpable as icy hats and bold low-end drive forward beneath evocative spoken vocals culminating in a dark, strobe-lit roller primed to lock in peak-time floors. There’s no respite with ‘Give Me Up’, a tense and relentless follow-up laced with razor-sharp percussion, unresolved loops, and a monstrous, rumbling bottom end. It’s precision-tooled Techno, designed to hit hard, both physically and mentally.

Founded by influential techno lynchpin Chris Liebing in 1999 and reemerging in 2021 after a five-year hiatus, Create Learn Repeat (CLR) has hosted a range of artists like Shlomi Aber, Dubfire, Flug, Bjarki, DJ Dextro and more while also focusing on developing newer acts in the scene such as The Southern, and Klint.
