Inspired by India Arie’s “Video,” the production is all-live instrumentation by Ayiana Maria, who also lends her soulful voice to the hook reminiscent of the 2001 hit but with a small twist. On this track, Clr honors African American women while championing unity and the idea of “taking care of home first.” Given today’s climate, the vibe of this song is certain to resonate with listeners for a long time.
