Brooklyn-based duo Gifted Fire launches their inaugural EP "Serpent's Slither", a journey of spicy world percussion with slithering desert synths on Club Rapture. The group, comprised of Shaun Benjamin and Panoramix, fuse deep underground house flavors with uplifting aromas of world music creating an immersive experience of live improvisational organic tribal house music. In addition, the EP features guest appearances by Prince Ali (vocals) and Alejandro Triana (Oud).

The superb EP delivers as a dance-floor banger while still holding space for the beautiful live instruments played throughout.

Now, that’s what 3000Grad Special stands for: Music made to maximise the bustle of the dancefloor, but with an
unusual, original twist. Special. Bonfante delivers two perfect examples for this kind of sound. Aldeapolis lifts our
spirits like the promise of t-shirt weather. Her voice sneaks between the beats in rhythmic fragments first, only in
the second half her singing breaks through fully with a catchy flourish. The retro-infused, rhythmically strippeddown to the maximum remix of Mollono.Bass focuses entirely on the vocal. Cyborgs Like Unicorns Too is playful
and humorous not only in its title, here Bonfante creates a mighty recognition factor by using the outrageously
cool sound of an electric guitar. The remix of Stimming throbs along under the influence of acid, leading us into
the rather trippy environment of a late party hour.

Italian artist Latteo brings a wealth of warm Mediterranean influences to his debut EP on Kindisch. 

Latteo was born and raised in Sicily so soaked up coastal sounds when not staring at the stars. He has long been a DJ but is now cooking up his own rich deep and acoustic house sound. It is infused with sounds picked up from his worldly travels - from bird calls to thunder, poetic lyrics to the raw power of analogue acid synths and tribal rhythms. He combines field recordings in a way that represents his Italian heritage and often collaborates with vocalists "who have the same desire to express a rather unusual message." 

D'aria is the guest on the fantastic opener 'Just Friends' and brings a magical voice to the warm and heartfelt grooves. Chunky percussion dances next to muted but emotive chords as the mood builds and the vocals ever more cast their soulful spell. There is just as much style and musicality to 'Child', with its deep but heavy drums and bass. Exquisite synth craft brings a tripped out and late-night vibe and signature percussion once again flesh out this alluring track. 

This is an accomplished debut from a hugely promising new artist.

Parallela is a new enigmatic artist who hails from Tel Aviv and arrives on thescene with no social media accounts or digital footprint. It's the music that comes first and he has been snapped up by Stripped Down who are going to work alongside him to get his richly emotive sounds out to the world.

For a brand-new artist, Parallela has a remarkably accomplished sound. The first track 'Waypoint' proves that with its angelic synth work and smooth rolling drums. There is a classical elegance to the arrangement that is underpinned by lush beats and an aching vocal that casts a hypnotic spell. It's epic in scale and stylish in execution. 'Q Point' shows a different side - here the drums are heavier, the synths are tense and tortured and the organic percussion adds detail to this late-night exploration. It's packed with original sound designs and make for a dramatic ride.
Austrian-born Ken Hayakawa steps up to remix after more than 20 years of crafting stylish house, often on this label. His first remix brings some cosmic tension to 'Waypoint.' The arps rise up the scale and more frazzled loops add extra bite. A second remix of the same track flips it into a deep roller meditative marching drums and dreamy melodies.
This is an exquisite EP that announces the irresistible sounds of Parallela to the
world.
