Yoshitaka Hikawa’s „Station 26“ is a space shuttle joyride. It’s pure ascension, the sound of gravity overcome. It’s luminous dashboards, green neon grids extending ever and infinitely outwards, motion-controlled holographic projections. It’s molten alien quicksilver seeping from a downed asteroid, lens flare on an astronaut’s visor. This music sounds like shattered light; weightless, refracted, glittering. Play this while you're waiting out decompression in airlock and having a really good heart-to-heart with your co-cosmonaut. Play this while you're up very far above.

Yoshitaka Hikawa - Artificial Delight

e6c41 is the name of the attending server of Matheus Daniel, a sound/visual artist based in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

In his first EP, "Uplifting Chaos", e6c41 writes in the air nostalgic melodies combined with dreamlike sounds, using pop structures dressed up as esoteric club trances, reminding a future that was lost in the past. Born in 2001, the greatest existential question of his generation is how to achieve the perfect cyber-individual, and how to sculpt the perfect imagery in techno marble, to launch it into the frenzy of stimuli that is the timeline world. With many collaborations from all over the globe, the songs reverberate this new world modus operandi, using various hands, computers and scenarios to chisel the gold that is turned into jewelry.

Released by Genome 6.66 MBP, from Shanghai and LogoLogo, from Sao Paulo. Co-produced by Maffalda, Volobodo and Daniel Tupy from Brazil; Avalanche Death from South Korea; innerinnerlife from Poland, "Uplifting Chaos" mix influences of ambient uplifting trance and progressive electronic music, without really needing a specific categorization, embracing the current generation's way of expressing themselves, but never glorifying a speculative future.

The 22nd release of katharsis is the album “Jester” by the Finnish duo Running, coming out on May 16th. The album unfolds an emotional and mythological tale of an imaginary terrain in an alternate time and realm with the Jester as the protagonist. Throughout the eight tracks, the listener is presented with a sonic world of tragic, sadness, beauty and even comedy by the duo’s poignant style of melodious ambient compositions.

Running’s “Jester” follows their last album “For Us By Us”, released on the Finnish label True Aether in 2018. On this release, the group seem to thrive with a conceptual and almost narrative backdrop for their creative outpourings. As Running have earlier been known for their very energetic and experimental live-performances, and as both members have indulged musically in other projects spanning from hardcore punk to contemporary performance art, it will be exciting to see where the duo goes from here.

Relentlessly thrashing and screaming, DREAM EATERS is a cathartic journey which leads the audience in a collective exorcism, acting as a guide on the path from violent insecurities to ownership of ones inner darkness. The first collaboration between Lamb Kebab and DJ GHEPARD is a genre crossover work which, as the tracks’ title suggests, draws inspiration from RPG video-games and explores the possibilities of sound as a virtual space for the artists to freely channel their darkest emotions and personal experience. Through each track the audience is drawn deeper into a progression of ownership of the fears that turns haunted into haunter. Through the artists' shared experiences, the audience is invited to share in this release of energy drawing momentum from the rage and development established in the text’s unapologetic ownership of ones inner power in sync with the crescendo of ecstatic rave melodies and hardcore breakdowns.

All revenues from the whole month of June will go in support to foundations supporting black communities.
