Abgesang an [ˌsiˈmɔn]

 ...is an installative music performance for two performers, in which the audience moves between sound-islands in the room. Sounds are generated at these points (using instruments, computers, sensors, microphones and loudspeakers).
The aim of the whole is the achievement of total androgyny, both visually and aurally.
Visually all identifying features of the performers are covered, erasing all traces of gender, making any optical differentiation between the two protagonists almost impossible. 
On the auditory level any further possibility of distinguishing between the two either through their individual vocal character or gender is destroyed by electronic distortion of the voices. Linked to this are the settings of texts whose content specifically deals with dialogues for two women, two men, or a man & a woman. 
In the performance the interaction between the visual and the auditory is confused. One sense draws a logical conclusion through the perception of the other. Thus all aural perception generates a visual counterpart in the imagination of the listener, and vice-versa.
For example, the false relationship may be achieved by the supposed gender- allocation for one sense, while at the same time the other sense is hindered in trying to find an analogous connection, often confronted with the opposite gender-allocation.

DARK ENERGY frankfurt album: A T®° ∆’ ƒ,F!¢“ // 2014

With „hacking the monolith“ we refer to Charly Steiger’s light installation „skalen“ at the top of the Allerheiligen Church bell tower in Frankfurt. Beforehand we made several recordings of the five bells in the tower, exploring various facets of sound.
This is a recording of our live performance at the top of the tower.

For 3 months the duo dived into the pulsating multi-cultural metropolis of Southeast Asia and returned to Frankfurt with a bunch of extraordinary Singaporean soundscapes to produce their upcoming CD, DARK~asian~ENERGY [singa~core album], that will be released at the end of 2016 by Gruenrekorder.

#fuckyourselfie - ethnology of solitude is dedicated to all the silent people spending half of their day in Singapore's MRTs, addicted to their mobil phones and tablets, gaming, selfie-ing, caught in virtual reality.

CLUBbleu work with analogue synthesizers, game controllers, sensors, e-drums, field recordings and live-electronics. Being greatly inspired by influences from electro-acoustic music, Electronica, Triphop, Clicks&Cuts and Death Metal, CLUBbleu create their own musical cosmos based on urban soundscapes, sparkling synths, deep drones and broken blast beats.

The redefinition of interactive electronic chamber music in connection to elaborate forms of musical scores represents the central topic of CLUBbleu ’s artistic approach. For their audio-visual live shows CLUBbleu collaborate regularly with different visual artists.
The German duo CLUBbleu, since august 2015 based in Singapore, is Felix Leuschner and Julia Mihály. Felix is a classically trained drummer and composer with the main focus on music theatre pieces, as well as chamber music and vocal pieces in connection to live-electronics. Strong influences by visual arts and architecture mark essential components in his compositions. As part of CLUBbleu, Felix plays e-drums connected to Max /MSP, using the instrument as a giant controller for real time sound synthesis. Julia is a composer-performer. She studied classical singing and electronic composition. The crossover of different music styles, such as contemporary vocal music, old school computer game music, trashy pop music tunes and electro-acoustic music, is probably the most outstanding feature of her compositions and performances. Within CLUBbleu, Julia plays analogue synths, game controllers and toy instruments connected to Max /MSP.
