MORA is a Helsinki-based DJ, curator and radiohost working towards safer, more inclusive spaces and platforms while diversifying the scene both within the underground scene and commercial clubs.

As a queer, non-binary POC, they work to achieve a fully sustainable and more accessible club environment and truly safer experiences for different often forgotten minority groups as a priority. They believe this is how hedonism and euphoria on the dancefloor are really reached.

Oramics Premiere is our new series on SoundCloud and YouTube that will showcase fresh tracks and videos from female, non-binary and queer producers. We want to use our platform to celebrate emerging talents and independent labels that support them.

Nino Davadze is an experimental musician and multimedia artist from Tbilisi, Georgia. She draws inspiration from classical music training and choral singing in an Orthodox church in the Georgian countryside. Nino’s formative years in She eld, UK, had sparked the idea of combining two parallel universes into her compositions - avant-garde electronic sound and storytelling using the spoken word and field recordings. Nino’s recent live performances brought her to share the stage with the likes of Mark Fell, Sote and Rian Treanor, as well as collaborations with Mutant Radio, New Drama Festival, and CES Records, the platforms that are at the forefront of Georgian contemporary art.

The symbiosis of knife-edged experimental electronics, synthesised vocals and field recordings by Tbilisi-based composer and multidisciplinary artist Nino Davadze. She debuts on the London art platform inklingroom with ‘Geometry of Soviet Women’ - two tracks that shuttle between the deconstructed club and ambient aim to encapsulate contemporary Georgian society's resilience and vulnerability from the eco-feminist perspective.

Hailing from Tbilisi, the experimental artist Nino Davadze uses her heavily distorted sound pallet, minimalist ambient soundscapes and profound lyrics as a language to express how her motherland is adapting to important changes in the new era.
The rawness of field recordings with heavily distorted drums, dark industrial bass, and sinister vocals ties all the abstract nostalgic reflections happening in urban spaces in the Georgian capital Tbilisi. Davadze tries to capture the intricate utopian vision and a fragile voice of anger, a desperate message, and a letter from the beloved city with a tangible memory of its people. Through the harsh, abrasive, metallic tones, Nino aims to create a sense of urgency; it’s the language she uses to manifest resistance.

cunt remember a.k.a irene carbonari, is a disc jokey/producer, curator/performer born in Argentina and based in Berlin. Her conception of music is influenced by her ability to relate symbolic elements with emotions and concepts, giving rise to an experience where diverse musical styles, such as hard techno, trance and post internet music merge, countercultural sounds and fast rhythms of the electronic scene, used as a means to activate energy and deactivate blockages, taking the vibration to a higher point, to transmute through music.

The brilliance of a star can return our reflection with the same distant certainty as the tremulous glow of a mobile phone on a suffocating and abundant dance floor. This thematic image is the one which acompanies the first work by Fauste, where the thicket of the night finds refuge in the decision not to forget its opposite. Without dazzling or shutting, the work comes to life in the dim light.
Ripped from the land where they were born, and thrown into the blinding city, Fauste picks up the fragments of their premature fantasies like the astral compass of a path to be followed.

CLUB CHAI is a record label, event series and curatorial project founded by 8ULENTINA and Lara Sarkissian (fka FOOZOOL) in Oakland, California. CLUB CHAI centers diasporic artists with the intention of carving out sounds and spaces that consider the ways we build narratives as a reflection of our current and future selves. We believe in the transformative abilities of storytelling through sound and honoring its creation of genres and movements for marginalized people throughout the history of electronic music. Through our label releases and projects we hope to contribute to this archive and history.
CLUB CHAI hosted regular events in Oakland and San Francisco while participating in an international network of artists and collaborators. CLUB CHAI held showcases in New York City and London, and have also presented at Unsound Festival Krakow (2019), Mexico City, Milan, and a UK tour in collaboration with TT label. The label hosted shows and streams on NTS radio, Rinse FM, Lower Grand Radio, and Boiler Room.
