It’s also about how we are more similar than we are different, how more of us are sisters than we know.”

Jasmine Infiniti is on the cusp of exposure, where the esoteric meets the technological. A singularity of multiple intersections, the Goddex transcends genre, obscures time, and knows no limitations. As a DJ and producer the Queen of Hell employs breakbeats and industrial drums blended with a dash of cunt, paying homage to her ballroom roots while staying true to her dark ethereal vibes.

CLUB CHAI co-founder Lara Sarkissian (aka @FOOZOOL) releases her debut EP 'DISRUPTION' on December 17, 2018 via CLUB CHAI. The project is an electronic soundtrack to an imagined fictional film inspired from stories of Armenian mythology, the transition from the worship of nature to the roles of gods and goddesses and tying these narratives to encounters with familial spirits. The soundtrack uses electronic composition, instruments with roots in the Armenian Highlands, sounds shaped from plateaued landscapes and geography, samples from old cartoons, and distorted narrations of rituals.

The track revisits an Abbasid poem around a cosmic water clock, written by a 10th c. Palestinian poet, logician, physician and chef who was known as 'Kushajam'. It is said that Kushajam lived between Jerusalem, Aleppo, Damascus and Baghdad and was very active in different circles related to rhetorics, Abbasid astronomy, poetry reading and chanting.

CLUB CHAI hosted regular events in Oakland and San Francisco while participating in an international network of artists and collaborators. CLUB CHAI held showcases in New York City and London, and have also presented at Unsound Festival Krakow (2019), Mexico City, Milan, and a UK tour in collaboration with TT label. The label hosted shows and streams on NTS radio, Rinse FM, Lower Grand Radio, and Boiler Room.
