Up next for Tapes #123 is genre blending DJ, Jhumka who has cultivated a name for herself amongst the underground scene. Her niche stylistic approach consists of deep cuts and all things dark & percussive. 

With her notable Lost Village debut set in 2023, she’s gone on to support a number of heavyweights, ranging from the legendary Francesco Del Garda to trance-daddy Marlon Hoffstadt. Jhumka is set to play GALA festival 2024, with other big summer announcements to follow.

3 hours of Grateful Dead live recordings, compiled by Hugo Rose in March 2024.

This collection consists entirely of live recordings, gleaned from many hundreds of hours spent listening to live concert recordings of the band. A good deal of the songs are 2-track recordings taken from the Dick’s Picks series of releases, although some more hi-fi multi-track recordings, like the hallowed Europe ‘72 version of Morning Dew, are included. There’s also some other Dead-related miscellanea scattered around, including archival promotional material and podcast snippets. Full tracklist below:
