Still Making Noise

Our latest single "Follow" pairs Club De Lay's Britpop/Madchester sound 
with a new more modern production style, where we started heading to on our latest release Loviisankatu EP. 
At the same time, "Follow" is a farewell wave for the past and a tender, welcoming embrace to the future. 
We are currently writing new songs for the next EP, and are aiming for a summer/fall release.
There's also great reason to celebrate this year, as Club De Lay turns 10! So in addition to the release of a 
new album, there will be some special things coming up. Better stay tuned comrades!

Mirror Of Simple Souls

By the end of the year 2018 we had put our minds on a new EP/mini album Peach Blossom Spring. It was recorded during 2019, with our very own Antti handling the recording and mixing duties. Eyes Wide Open was released early August as a teaser for Peach Blossom Spring and our new, more nuanced sound. On the album we are dealing with the contemporary issues of a personal and social change and the
status quo of the post-modern human beings on the wider scale. 
Musically Peach Blossom Spring is way more experimental and electronic than the past albums we’ve done. But still, guitars are holding a major role in the mix.
Peach Blossom Spring EP will be released 11.12.2019 on every possible
digital platform and audio streaming service. It will be released by the
Finnish record label Dödstil . Cheers!

The narrator in the song ponders on the significance of coincidence in the formation, duration and ending in relationships. Multiple risks are always associated with relationships, but when you start to fear them too much, you have already partially lost the battle against coincidence. Odds are meant to be beaten.

Club De Lay is a five-piece band from Loviisankatu, Finland. Their music is a Kaurismäki-esque night filled with cheap lager and cigarettes, that can end up in an underground dance party or in a lonely walk back home. Their distinctive sound gets its colours from the band members' personalities and shared view of vivid modern pop-rock music.
