Alberto Melloni, Rimini's unsung Italo hero is a versatile DJ/producer and multi-instrumentalist with an eye for glistening basslines and groovy vibes.

TRAMPA0015 - Picture a neon-soaked cityscape under a starry sky, with palm trees swaying to a pulsating beat. In the foreground, a sleek sports car speeds down a futuristic highway, leaving streaks of light in its wake. Electric magenta, cyan, and violet hues create a lively atmosphere, capturing the essence of Alberto's infectious rhythms and glamorous retro-futurism.

Since the name of the EP is 'Stroken' we simply had to call in Storken for a remix, a match made in heaven, if heaven was filled with disco balls on a party boat cruising through the Balearic Islands.

While this may be the debut release for the alias Laion, it’s not actually the first or even second release on Club Mackan by this Amsterdam based producer. Lionel aka Laion is one of the brains behind thePhilosophica who we’ve seen on the label with their hit “Grandma Jam” (as part of our first VA) and their acid take on Marcus Christiansen’s track “The Adventurer”.

This time Laion decided to show up to the party alone, showcasing his fantastic talent for melodies and spicy arrangements with three original tracks. Whether it’s acid or piano house masquerading as italo or a combination of the two, you’ll find it here. And while we play dress up. We also have three very talented remixers, each bringing their own costume to the party. Let’s say hi to Bubs, Pianopoli and Sex Kino.

If you know Bubs, you know that this guy likes disco, italo, trance and eurodance. And what better way than to dress up Conquest Of Happiness in a rather fashionable, but subtle eurodance styling? That’s exactly what we get here, but still very much attached to the 80s.

As for King Day, the Belgian producer Pianopoli opted for a bit of attitude to his fresh new look while still remaining true to the original, still very much inspired by the 80s and 90s. However, not much for following rules, he brought his whole entourage of signature pads to the party despite the invitation saying +1.

When you’re at a party, there is always that guy or couple who stands out from the rest. Whether good or bad, that’s up for you to decide. But guess which one showed up like that to our party? You guessed right. Sex Kino has absolutely no regard for dress codes and we love that! They enter with raw determination and a bit of flair. This hypnotic robotic acid trance take on Virtues Of Idleness will make you forget everyone else at the party.

Prinze, the founder of Epicure Records, returns with a new EP that once again showcases his mastery of the diverse facets of electronic music, ranging from acid to italo, and encompassing house, trance, and even breakbeat.   Crafted largely during his journey in Guadeloupe, this EP of 6 original tracks captures the essence of the island with every beat.   

"Sex Wax" immerses you in a captivating prog house journey, punctuated by intoxicating piano notes. Inspired by the island's waves, this track evokes surfing through its various phases, from the initial paddle to the euphoria of the take-off set against italo sounds.  "High Energy" is a true ode to acid, whisking you away on a rhythmic whirlwind where each moment brings a new surprise, from start to finish.  

"Gwadacid," born from a jungle excursion, is an immersion in layers of acid, inviting listeners on a psychedelic journey without the need for altering substances. 

 To elevate the EP to even greater heights, Prinze enlisted the expertise of three esteemed remixers :   Zaratustra, the Parisian, injects frenetic energy into his rave remix of "Sex Wax", poised to electrify dancefloors until the early hours.  Fausto, the boss of Hypnotic sounds from Sinaloa, delivers a spellbinding rendition of "High Energy," infusing it with a hypnotic allure tailored for discerning club-goers.  Finally, Austher, one of the pillars of the Toulouse Scene, brings his Italo body music touch to "Gwadacid," satisfying fans of the genre and concluding the affair with style.   Epicureans from everywhere, let's take a ride together !

After introducing himself in our last compilation RETROFUTUR, Levantine deploys his first EP for the owl.

"Interdimensional Love Triangle" is a powerful cosmic italo track with a tense acid touch. In the distance stretches a melancholy melody.

In the same vein as the eponymous track, "Fever" is definitively badass ! Percussive rhythm, cosmic melody and poignant synth are the main ingredients of this dancefloor track.

"Ecstasy & Desperation" is a slightly more sensitive title but still very danceable. The bass and synth match perfectly. The atmosphere is highlighted with a spatial melody and some carrying pads.

Our favorite Berlin-based Austrian My Secret Playground is back. Once again delivering a sensational remix, he perfectly mixes his Disco origins and electronic music, while respecting Levantine's original music. Cosmic and lyrical !

To close the release, welcome to the talentuous David Garcet. The Belgian born artist gives a nostalgic and futuristic breaky reinterpretation of "Ecstasy & Desperation". Dark, captivating, fiery !
