TheKidnapper es un productor italiano con fresco talento, basado en Londres, inspirado por gente como Oscar Mulero, Nørbak, Temudo. Su sonido es completamente underground, hipnótico y raw. Inició a producir a los catorce años, pero nunca salió de la oscuridad sino hasta el último año, en el que decidió mostrar al mundo su definición de Techno, mostrándonos su trabajo vías sellos como Private techno, Arido Records, Oxytech records, Teoria Perfekta y Osler Records.

Y ahora debuta en nuestra querida Primitive State Records con un sólido extended play (EP), que trae tras de sí mucho apoyo. 

Compuesto de cuatro pistas originales y un Rework, Club Furies les presenta el estreno de Loss of freedom, la pista homónima del título de esta fresca nueva referencia, y la segunda pista.

Matias Fernandez, mejor conocido como Distant, es DJ y productor de Córdoba, Argentina, quien en sus últimos lanzamientos ha logrado formar parte de sellos de renombre como Detriti Records, Khemia Records y Soil, además de ser fundador de TERRA FURIA y de Shtcby Records.

Distant presenta "Carmesí Diabla" en Soil Records: un trabajo enorme en cuanto a su calidad, compuesto de seis pistas originales y un extenso paquete de remixes de la original 'Carmesí Diabla' por parte de Randstad, The Mover, Melania. y Max Durante.

Estamos muy agradecidos con Matias por permitirnos ser parte de su gran lanzamiento en Soil con la presentación del estreno de 'Livrie Bargee', la quinta pista de este trabajo, una muestras más del extraordinario trabajo que es esta nueva referencia.

Ambient Babestation Meltdown returns to Optimo Music for a second collaborative release, this time with Bristol's sound-obsessive Borai. Their three-track Human Material EP collides electro, UKG and techno with early ‘90s hardcore to make for something as high impact as it is high quality. 

South East London's Ambient Babestation Meltdown was last on this label in July 2022 with JBS. Since then, the Creative Director of Peckham's cult Rye Wax has continued to carve out her singular sound. All of it draws on her love of sci-fi and passion for outsider sounds from the worlds of Italo, house and hardcore and is made all the more unique with the addition of her deadpan yet sultry vocals up top. 

Borai meanwhile is a long-time underground mainstay with credits on cult independent labels like Hardcore Energy from his hometown of Bristol, as well as Off Beat and Room2 based in Germany and London respectively. A jungle head at heart, he has ventured into dub, techno and plenty in between as a DJ and producer but also when cutting dubplates at Bristol’s Dubstudio.  

And that is exactly what the pair do here in an EP packed with cyberpunk narrative. It sonically depicts the uprising of subservient robots who grow all too sentient for the underclasses and fight back to mend their broken hearts. 

Opener 'My Heart My Motherboard' is the sound of prime tech house, slick Drexciyan electro and fresh UKG all existing in perfect harmony. The mid-tempo beats have an infectious bounce, the pixelated synth motifs are futuristic and the bassline glows warm. 'Your Malware' explores much more textural acid techno with edgy beats and anxiety-inducing synths. Warped 303s loop tightly as the punchy drums thumb out a rhythm and the yelping vocals add a sense of urgency. Finally, 'Do Androids Dream of Key Lime Pie' is a nod to the unabashed glory days of ‘90s hardcore and frantic sampling when each track sounded like four different joints rolled into one. It takes you up, then down the round and round with a dubbed out low end and edgy stabs that make way for dusty jungle breaks and sure-fire dance floor destruction.

So lay down and close your eyes because on this one, our querida joya @eezzmmeerraallddaa wonders what we all wonder every now and then: good old 'What happens when we die?' We sort of know the drill: the cling, the not wanting to go, the inevitable... the heartbreaking nostalgia of parting ways with this world... and also, the chance to end the pain. Then comes the grief: bye bye sweetness, chao joy, adiós tenderness... then -¡ayayay! the terror, the slow fade-out, the nothingness. At last that sparkle in the dark edge of the hiss shows us the way to the ultimate surrender, to then become a garden in the void, and finally return to mamá amor as big beautiful rainbows.

This is Ruido y Flor, the first offering of Ambie—Tón: our brave new venture into the heart of the haze.
