This EP is the perfect illustration of Submersive sound signature. All 4 artists play with textures & atmospheres immersing us in a world of depth and immensity.

Heavy yet subtle rhythms are evolving with inertia and confidence alongside airy and electrifying sounds. It’s the perfect soundtrack of an underwater rave, where a certain slowness is required to appreciate the richness of all details.

Minimood boss Voltmar invites Blazej Malinowski to the vinyl-only label’s offshoot Minimood Extra as both artists remix Advanced Dreams’ ‘Blurred Trip’ this March.

Since Minimood’s inception in 2007, the Cologne-based outfit has continued to explore the deeper, dubbier realms of techno, house and minimal, playing host to the likes of CV313, David Hausdorf, Steve O’Sullivan, Luke Hess, Sascha Dive, Delano Smith and many more. Now, Voltmar returns to the label’s subseries Minimood Extra together with his good friend Polish DJ/producer Blazej Malinowski to serve up two individual atmospheric, dub-techno reworks of Russian underground duo Advanced Dreams’ ‘Blurred Trip’ pressed on transparent wax.

Inner Tension chief Blazej Malinowski’s interpretation of the aptly titled ‘Blurred Trip’ creates a complex sonic soundscape as evocative keys, subtle percussion, reverberating basslines and ethereal samples work in harmony. On the flip, Voltmar offers up a chuggy, stripped back reshape as ghostly echoes, tight snares, and a punchy bassline carry this profoundly emotive cut.

An abyss of electromagnetic impulses awake the listener from a slight lethargy, each tiny organism is subjected to a small stimulus that increases in intensity until emerging from the deepest entrails of human being.

Polish producer Blazej Malinowski emphasizes the spiritual character of the release with an adaptation of Binocular Disparity in which the harmonic connections appease the temperament of the original cut.
