Puglia born and Berlin based Luigi Di Venere is one of the most exciting presences in electronic music. 

Now a much loved DJ, producer and promoter, he first came to attention at Cocktail d’Amore, where he is a resident and served as a label manager. Di Venere’s talent was quickly spotted by other promoters, and over the past five years he has become a regular feature of Panorama Bar and at the infamous fetish club lab.oratory. His musical style is rooted in Italo house and cosmic Italo disco, techno, New Beat, trance, and he is especially known for his luxurious Balearic waves, trippy cosmic soundscapes and explosive combinations. 

Di Venere also runs his own club nights including Maximum Joy in Berlin and Power Dance Club in Athens and Berlin. In the past, Di Venere has hosted his own radio show MachineSex on Radio Cómeme, and his ambient compositions have featured in numerous fashion and art projects. These days, Di Venere can be found managing the Phonica Records satellite in Berlin’s The Stores X, and expanding his new label with Neu Verboten, Philoxenia Records. Di Venere enjoys a number of exciting musical collaborations, including Banana Moon (with Massimiliano Pagliara), Solidair (with Jules Etienne), Affective Units (with Neu Verboten)

we had the pleasure of contributing to the Kwaitour event @ Ohm Berlin in May . Belgium raised berlin based dj Gratts also played the same event and his set was recorded .
DJ Gratts has spent the best part of two decades lugging bags of records around Europe, and latterly Asia and Australia with increasing frequency. First biting the bug for good-time house, techno and disco in the late 90s, he honed his craft as part of the We Play House gang throughout the following decade, and began pushing out of his homeland around the 10s. In keeping the heart of the music in mind, Gratts ensures the feet are always engaged. Genres aren’t important, though: no matter what’s spinning, it’s all about the uplift, the heart and the freedom. His deep knowledge of groove-heavy, dancefloor-ready music affords him versatility - he’s as comfortable playing alongside Steffi or DJ Sprinkles as Hunee or András Fox. As well as an able selector, he’s a keen curator-collaborator: he produces music under his own name, as Icarus Traxx and with Eluize as Ca$hminus; he plays records with San Soda as Het Collect-Ief Deruyter; and last but not least with fellow Belgian dj Kong, he runs the ensemble label from Brussels .
while many records played in this set are South-African, probably just as many aren't, but were influenced by (his personal vision) of the kwaito vibe and aesthetic. So apart from house music, bubblegum and kwaito, the mix also contains non SA produced tunes that got played on SA dancefloors, SA themed records (e.g. Massive Sounds / Bobby Konders' "Free South Africa") .
