I contacted some of my favorite blogs and asked them if they would write about my music but none of them wanted to. one replied that the songs were too heady for their blog, another said that they were too moody. i kind of understand what they were saying. so 'too heady' will be a collection of some of the tracks i recorded this year, which all feel a little to heady!

i just recently got obsessed with producers like quickly quickly, melodiesinfonie, monte booker and others that have a very warm and human sound. I would love to explore that direction in the future. I would also love to finally find my unique sound but i get fascinated by new stuff so easily and bored by old stuff just as quickly, so i always moved around between genres. 
I am looking foreward to recording happier, less heady tunes in the future and i hope you will be around to see where this goes.

I used to be in a couple of noise bands when I was younger but have been obsessed with r&b lately and i tried to merge these two with this record. I'd like to make more upbeat music but my finished projects always sound a little "too heady".

this song was recorded on my parent's piano. the piano tracks were later  recorded onto an akai reel to reel Machine, running 7" BASF tape. drums were played in with an sp404. some of the samples at the end are taken from 2001: a space odyssey.
