Club Moniker is a Bay Area collective focused on forward-thinking underground dance music through intimate club experiences and a recently minted record label. 

The new V/A is studded with two collabs featuring Club Moniker resident and co-label head, Pteron, including bread.fm resident, Prawns, and dubwise Bay Area stalwart, Only Now, with releases on Bokeh Versions and Polaar. Rising talents Shai FM and Fallen Matter round off the release with their respective fortes in shapeshifting percussive workouts and fractured, razor-sharp sound design.

We’re back with our third V/A to round out the year, and couldn’t be more excited to showcase this four-track excursion into the post-apocalyptic clubscape of our fantasies ⋆ ˚ ꩜ ｡ ⋆(•̀ᴗ•́ )و

‘When the Dust Settles’ sets the tone of the release, a simmering halftime roller that is the collaboration of longtime friends Prawns (bread.fm) and co-label head Pteron. Thunderous, ritualistic percussion intensifies over a gritty reese-like bass amid washes of dissonant textures. A rush of blood to the head.
