A debut album is always something special. For Julian Wassermann, "Apple Of My Eye" is the essence of his musical identity – a sonic journey that has grown and evolved over the past 15 years.
For many years, Julian has been a constant presence in Germany’s electronic music scene. With countless releases on renowned labels, he has established himself as a respected name in the industry. All the more surprising, then, that the Munich-born producer had never released a full-length album until now.
Recently, Julian Wassermann joined Fckng Serious as an exclusive artist. Here, he not only found new energy for his live performances but also the creative freedom to craft his first album entirely on his own terms.
Within a year, 15 tracks came to life – each one a reflection of Julian’s musical versatility. Every production is deeply personal: from the very first sound to the final master, Julian shaped every detail himself. Adding even more intimacy, he wove in live recordings and sound fragments taken from his everyday life – moments in nature, time with friends and family, and personal experiences. Some of these friends, themselves musicians, also contributed to select tracks, bringing unique nuances and fresh layers to the album.
For Julian Wassermann, his greatest achievement has always been staying true to himself – and this album is no exception. With "Apple Of My Eye", he showcases not only his technical mastery in the studio but also his remarkable versatility: from driving techno to melodic house, from electronica with breakbeat influences to atmospheric ambient sounds, Julian unites all the styles that have shaped him throughout his career.
The album will be released in October 2025, preceded by several singles.

This Desert Hearts Festival was incredibly special to us for too many reasons to count, but the reason that's always been paramount for us is the amount of love we have for our friends and family that have grown with us along the way. When we approached the decks for our grand finale set on Monday afternoon, it only felt right to invite some of our best friends to play alongside us for our favorite victory lap session. First we grabbed OG DH residents Justin Campbell, Kevin Anderson, Dink! & Tara Brooks to join in. Then we saw Evan Casey & Malcolm Brown dancing in the crowd and waved them onto stage to join the party. Finally, one of our oldest friends and heads of Pile Palace, Iwata, came on stage to say goodbye and we asked him if he had his music on him USBs. His eyes lighting up, we couldn't have dreamed to play such a triumphant, celebratory set alongside all of our favorite people. It was such a special moment and you can listen to it in all it's glory here.

From time to time it feels like a dream. The big boys are playing their records and the party keeps going on and on. David Jach is no longer just one of those Djs… 
He found his way, his style and he works steadily on his magic. For years, his records have been loaded and his tour schedule is heavy these days. Jach represents a new generation of musicians,
who rely on their own emotions rather than the “great hypes” and still, his sound somehow manages to sneak in between the almost identical sounding tracks of the Beatport Top20.
However, David Jach does not only count on his vinyl productions but also on his live performing qualities. The freshness of his performances is catching and evokes an almost romantic picture of perfect Open-Air-Days and Club-Nights, some of which he is
celebrating on a regular basis within the scope of his own event “Freunde Feiern”.
Colourful, slightly soaked with house and deep sound elements, always a bit nostalgic but at the same time several steps ahead of the usual burbling techno-releases. Most recently, David Jach and his mate Beatamines have performed an electronic concert with a
philharmonic orchestra. The video of this special production went around the world and the concert will be repeated in a number of special locations. It’s up to you to open your ears and your mind – this boy is hardworking and he’s out to get you.
