We are happy to share Mau House' brand new release by the São Paulo-based producer, Mia Lunis with her 'Caterpillar' EP incl. remixes by Omri Guetta & Omer Tayar, and MATARA.

Mia Lunis is a DJ, producer, and idealizer of outstanding projects in the electronic scene in São Paulo. She started her DJing career in 2004 playing at the top venues and gatherings that the vibrant city of São Paulo has to offer and far beyond the Latin American continent, in gatherings and venues such as Fusion Festival, Katzensprung Festival, KaterBlau, Burning Man, and many more. Her sets bring a unique experience by gathering influences and diversity of rhythms from Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Brazil, blending it all together with sophisticated electronic beats and lots of percussions.

The inspiration for 'Caterpillar' EP began during these crazy times of pandemic when she saw a video of a caterpillar leaving its cocoon. This transformation process moved her and she felt deeply related to it, as it reminded the transformational process she has been through with her music. 'Caterpillar' EP includes 2 pounding originals and 2 extraordinary remixes by Omri Guetta and Omer Tayar, and MATARA BNP.

First, we have the theme track 'Caterpillar', which is characterized by the fusion of crunchy sounds with a stable bass-line and cinematic melodies, all coming together into a deep and slightly dramatic melodic journey. Following up next, Mia Lunis is serving us her 2nd original track, 'Hallo', a peak time tune that displays edgy warm synth riffs and melodies, enveloped with a driving bass-line and pleasurable percussion. On remix duty, we are thrilled to have back on our label the talented duo MATARA and to welcome Omri Guetta and Omer Tayar to Mau House. MATARA's remix to the EP theme track, catapults the splendid original with their forward-thinking magic touch and signature bass-line, giving it a progressive and powerful interpretation. Last but not least, we have Omri Guetta and Omer Tayar's remix for 'Hallo', with their slightly darkish interpretation, creating an epic psychedelic atmosphere.

The outstanding Spanish duet WO-CORE is back at Uxoa Dutxa Elite after their successful debut with their EP Andalucia released a few weeks ago. On this occasion they present a beautiful single with their unique style in Melodic Techno titled Brujo featuring Violeta Reynal on vocals with 3 impressive remixes by Algebra, Di Rugerio and Messier.

Brujo's original track begins with an aggressive bassline accompanied by an energetic drums totally focused on the dance floor with an enigmatic atmosphere between slightly arpeggiated and enveloping synth sequences that take you to an elevated and ethereal state of mind where a beautiful female voice will be implanted in you to continue with the lively rhythm and the other sound elements until the end.

The Brazilian duet Algebra performs the first remix, marking from the beginning their perspective of Melodic Techno with a more catchy bassline maintaining the original sequence with a more abstract and deep rhythm, handling in an excellent way the vibes with the synthesizers and the voices in a hypnotic way. .

The label head Di Rugerio performs the second remix, starting with a powerful kick drum and an overly danceable bassline with playful hihats that make the accompaniment, keeping the original sequence in the same way in the background, Di Rugerio gives a progressive and energetic touch to the track making an incredible balance with new melodic elements with synth riffs and robotic effects on the voice resulting in a supreme remix.

And to close this sonic journey we have the talented producer Messier with the third remix of Brujo starting with a powerful kickdrum and a very well balanced drums with new sequences that make an excellent combination with the bassline making it more dynamic than the previous ones, while the vocal arises unexpectedly in a very hypnotizing way, taking you to an extensive but fabulous atmospheric break that will lift your spirits when you reach the climax, exploding your emotions to the limit.

Without a doubt, an EP that brings together extraordinary exponents of world-class Melodic Techno with exceptional versions by Brujo.

First track Stairway is a Moody Building Progressive House track with elements of Deephouse and Melodic Techno , you can also hear the dark moody pads and bass that are synonymous with in Zy Khan's productions and this track is no different with an emotional dark and moody pad breakdown which then flows into the second drop of delightful punchy drums and some lovely low sub basses.

Second track is called Enlighten , another lovely melodic piece from Zy almost going back in years to the progressive house of 2000 onwards , deep old school progressive baselines , brooding dark pads and some nice crisp percussion.

This time a sundrenched, funky collaboration of two acts straight outta Germany.

LES LOUPS:
Hamburg based Les Loups' music is a melting pot of modern dance and electronic music as well as organic and raw elements from dusty disco to glowing pop. Toni, Felix and Phil’s popularity grew big with their summer hit ‘Colourblind’ in 2014. It premiered on Majestic Casual, where it belonged. The follow-up single „Stay“ with danish soul talent Marie Dahlstøm received the Scandinavian Soul Award for „Best Single 2015“. More releases followed. Late 2020 saw the release of Les Loups’ Single “Enough” featuring Berlin-based singer YOSIE. With support from Majestic Casual, TheSoundYouNeed, Electro Posé and Satin Jackets’ acclaimed “Nu Disco” playlist, the group decided to bring Dutch-producer Feiertag and Hamburg-based David Bay (by the band Pool) on board for special remix versions. The boys and DJ Supermarkt / Too Slow To Disco go way back, the trio were one of the earliest guests in the TSTD Monarch parties.

DAVID BAY:
David Bay is better known as a member of the German pop band POOL. The Hamburg based mid-twenties diy-disco-producer is now working on his solo career. With his band Pool, he already opened for bands like the 1975, played whole Europe and the US and released on labels like Kitsuné and Diynamic. David started his solo project with remixes for the likes for Kytes, Rikas, The Phenomenal Handclap Band and Verboten Berlin. The first original tracks are set to come this summer.
