From passion and friendship was born @nouveaufutur
@neurotiker and @betty-b-69  are passionate about music, and their influences come from the 80’s.
Night owls, as they both describe themselves best. Their similar interest in music led them to collaborate by founding Nouveau Futur. Despite the distance that separates them as Neurotiker is based in Rio de Janeiro in, Brazil and Betty in Lyon in, France.

DJ since 1999, Neurotiker has developed his own style of music production, that ranges from techno to disco always with a retro feel to his music. He produced music since 2010 on labels such as Ritmo Fatale, Mélopée Records, Weirdos Records, Ulla Records, Polari Records...
He’s also founding his own label, OGIO Records.

Betty worked in the night life from the end of the 80's until 2005 in the trendiest clubs and bars of Lyon, as barmaid, party organizer, or bar manager. In 1995, she moved behind the decks and learnt to mix on vinyl. Even after leaving the night life, she returned to mixing utilizing the new
technological tools. She delivers club-oriented dance mixes tinged with indiedance and dark disco, while adding some new wave.

Throughout the electrifying ‘Come To Me’ he is staying true to his basics, building up an intoxicating melody with one clear intention in mind : raising up the euphoria level to the max and offering a real uplifting momentum. Emotionally charged piano chords, celestial chants echoing in the distance and tempting voices are here to complete the erotico-mystico tableau.

Zakmina presents a commanding dark disco release for Minimood with two spellbinding originals filled with unique and captivating sounds. The EP is complemented by compelling remixes from Curses and Rude 66. “Makam” comprises of an alluring array of instruments that create a mesmerizing atmosphere with an oriential mood to it. Curses retains this atmosphere in his remix, albeit with a deeper and darker tone. Marco Resmann returns to Watergate after a productive stint at the Red Bull Music Studios in Cape Town with two stellar cuts featuring local heroes Deep Aztec and Black Soda. Tack on a remix from the one and only Oliver Huntemann and another revision from Resmann himself and you have the ‘Babylon Side’ EP.
Teaming up to kick things off, Resmann, Black Soda and Deep Aztec embrace the cultural sounds of Africa's organic percussion and vocal prowess to create a tour de force tune perfectly balance between flashing club lights and vast open skies. Following suit, ‘Abadala’ sees Marco again with Deep Aztec for a lush ride into deep emotional spaces by applying mesmerizing syncopated rhythms and spellbinding vocals ideal for deeper or more sentimental dance floor moments.

Up next is Techno legend Oliver Huntemann who, playing after Resmann earlier this year at the 15 years of Watergate event at Warung Beach Club in Brazil enjoyed his set and the two hit it off, so logically he was asked to lend his trademark sound for a revision of ‘Babylon Side’ and he twists the original into a heavy Techno belter complete with sinister sonics and fever inducing sirens. Wrapping things up is Marco Resmann himself with his own take on ‘Babylon Sides’ and delivers a wild and twisted version of gargantuan low end and psychedelic shimmers of the original vocal resulting in a killer tune with a ton of attitude.
