Marc (@Tymotica) & Luca (@dj_ion) = Thrived. A new duo that are going to make serious waves. Growing up inspired by hip hop, dubstep, jazz and 90s techno has led to their debut release Anthea sounding as mad as it does. Founding member of the Munich label Ruffhouse, Tymotica’s bass rooted sound clashing with Dj Ion diverse sonics (first heard on Don Williams a.r.t.less imprint) creates fire sound.

Anthea, ancient greek for „blossom“ is referring to Thrived as a concept of mutual growth. Cconsisting of four tracks threaded together by rolling percussive sounds and breaks. The two present a clear tendency towards modern UK Club sound, yet carrying a bit of past reminiscent Berlin Techno aesthetics.
