Covid Ries - Set

RIES is a Netherlands based dj, spinning grooves and setting moods for
over a decade now.
His roots in disc jockey'ing started in the funk soul disco corner being
resident for local restaurants spinning weekly 6hr vinyl sets. These days
his sound can be described as energetic, moving, groovy house & techno.
Always selecting records which have a personal emotional connection,
setting out on transporting this emotion and energy out on the
dancefloor. Eclectic at times, vocalic and somewhat recognizable enough
to always keep the fire burning, always in sync with 'the groove' and the
vibe of the crowd.
For the last 4 years RIES has been building and hosting his own CLUB
RIES events, which started off in magical underground gatherings in a
hidden warehouse during Covid times - now out and about building a
local house community in his home town Groningen by organising a
returning club night in collaboration with the venue EM2.
The clubnights are always themed in story, and moreso in vibe in the
night. The party crew takes you on a theatrical ride for the night setting a
warm open inviting dancefloor, encouraging the crowd to interact and
create the night together resulting in some magical moments.
