Roger Martinez's Higher States rounds out the summer season by welcoming EANP to the label for their debut EP. Having worked together since 2014, it wasn't until 2018 that Buenos Aires residents Ezequiel Anile and Nicolas Petracca decided to coin the EANP alias for their collaborative efforts. Now firmly established, the moniker has become synonymous with quality club-effective progressive house, complete with a techy flair. Continued support from genre tastemakers Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, along with key releases for Balance Music, Mango Alley, Meanwhile, Or Two Strangers and Replug have made the Argentinean duo a much in-demand act. Currently operating at their most prolific and creative to date, the beloved duo now add Higher States to their resume with a three-track showcase 'Hypersonic'.

Already in the sets of Hernan Cattaneo, it is ‘Hypersonic’ which leads the release off. Complete with many of the duo’s beloved production hallmarks, it’s a stripped down slow-burning groove which sets the pace for intriguing vocal samples, hopeful pads and uniquely polished percussion to create a timeless storyboard. Acid stabs steal the air, adding dynamic swing to the groove, while an array of orbiting effects perfectly prelude a heartfelt break, one where wispy sonics and decayed vocals build anticipation for a stomped-out finale, one that is sure to resonate across dancefloors for the remainder of the summer season.

Selection two ‘Hypnotica’ continues the duo’s dancefloor minded approach and complements its predecessor perfectly. With a tough percussive framework. EANP’s craftsmanship reveals itself across the expansive journey, one where techno-inspired beats and low-slung bass lines get peppered with skittering rhythms, glitched-out electronics and carefully placed atmospheric refrains.

The duo’s distinct aesthetic continues on the third and final selection ‘No Input’. Perhaps the most direct composition on the EP, its eight-minute running time quickly sets you adrift in a techno-inspired wasteland of retro-sonics and granular textures. Both intimate and wide-ranging, it's a trance-inducing break which engulfs your attention whole, creating a ceremonial backdrop for misty glitches and fog-like swells to paint a scenic storyboard onwards to a rejuvenating finale.

Clubsonica Records opens the month of March by presenting a collaborative project from JFR and Lucas Zárate. Hailing from Argentina but currently calling Spain home, Juan Franco Rivero aka JFR has carved out a unique sonic identity in the world of progressive and organic house, resulting in a string of uniquely crafted records that present a resonant worldly sound. Releases via All Day I Dream, Anjunadeep, Musique de Lune, and his own Secret Feelings imprint have been instrumental in showcasing the Barcelona's resident's borderless approach to production, in turn garnering support from Lee Burridge, Sebastien Leger and Nick Warren, amongst others. Meanwhile, also hailing from Argentina, Lucas Zárate has enjoyed similar success since first emerging in 2022. Much like JFR, Lucas would find a cohesive balance between progressive and organic house, an amalgamation of sound which would earn him the praise of Gorje Hewek, Modd and Nick Warren, while also highlighting his resume with offerings via Melody of the Soul, Peace Symphonies and Songuara. Having also recorded a four-track artist showcase for JFR's Secret Feelings, the duo now combines their extensive forces for Clubsonica and their collaborative debut ‘Siamba | Sambuka', alongside a remix from Matthew Sona.

Beginning with the colourful monochromes of ‘Siamba', the duo continues to explore the groovy organic blueprints from which they have made their names on. A DJ friendly intro sets the pace for swing heavy rhythms and panoramic melodies to layer a warm, chunky bassline. Carving out a fluid path into the break, anticipation is high as balmy atmospherics and exotic synth cascades highlight a well-crafted interlude, building melodic tension throughout, before a cosmic crescendo reveals an epic finale complete with shapeshifting synth lines and subversive chord changes. Beneath the utopian qualities of 'Siamba' lies the equally intriguing vibes of 'Sambuka'. JFR and Lucas expound their organic vision here, with alluring rhythms and hyperspace effects blanketing warm beats and precise percussive arrangements. Clever textural co-actions marry with wavy melodies, evolving with each successive pass, while a hypnotic break complete with deconstructed vocal samples and soulful musicality preludes an inventive finale.

The release concludes with Matthew Sona making his label debut with the lone interpretation of ‘Siamba'. Hailing from Hungary, Matthew Sona has found a way to create his own personal universe by exploring organic sounds and ultimately finding a place in the trend-driven state of underground dance music at a remarkably young age. With a contribution to Zenebona's Various Artists Sampler in 2023 marking his production debut, the Budapest resident would go on to forge a strong creative partnership with the label, recording four additional projects across the next calendar year, in addition to an impressive debut on Nick Warren's The Soundgarden. With Eelke Kleijn and Hernan Cattaneo also being supporters of Matthew's work, the Hungarian continues to carve out his own path into 2025, making his Clubsonica debut with an excellent interpretation of ‘Siamba'. Bringing a contemporary state of mind, Matthew reassembles the themes from the original for his own uniquely energetic approach. Stepping decisively on the gas, it's a narrative of timely effects, haunting motifs and shapeshifting melodies which coax perfectly atop precise kick drums and charged grooves, for what results in a tastefully epic rendition that's perfect for a peak hour dancefloor.

Continuing to showcase exciting new talent, Clubsonica Records welcomes COQUEIT to the label for his debut EP. Hailing from Argentina, COQUEIT has been a fixture of the progressive house scene across the last four years. The Cordoba resident first rose to prominence with a string of early projects for AH Digital and Droid9 South America, where he established a melodic, progressive style that made him a name to watch. Continuing to perfect his craft going forward, COQUEIT would earn the support of genre tastemakers Antrim, Ezequiel Arias, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and Sahar Z, in turn landing him releases via Mango Alley and Univack. With the onset of 2025 highlighted by a well-received debut for Or Two Strangers, COQUEIT continues to break further ground as the year enters its second quarter, adding Clubsonica to his resume with ‘Warning’. 

The peak time sounds of the title selection ’Warning’ steal the air and present a prophetic monochrome within COQUEIT’s repertoire, as charged beats, rebounding rhythms and pyrotechnic effects converge for an electric narrative. Advancing the journey further across the break, it’s a set of siren-like synth flairs which emerge and travel to the very edges, before a finale of heavily manipulated stabs cast a paranoid spell over the dancefloor.

The second selection ‘Fox River’ finds COQUEIT crafting a groovy melodic number that’s nicely suited for those uplifting dancefloor moments. Smooth key changing basslines forecast a powerful yet emotive low end, while glowing pads and effervescent melodies instantly commands your attention. Coming to full friction during the interlude, trance-inducing motifs provide an enduring main theme, eventually culminating in a crescendo of effects-laden euphoria.

Rounding out the release are the multi-dimensional sounds of ‘Sona’. Instantly seductive, its industrial structures and mesmerizing machine progressions drive each other into a whirlpool of spiralling directions, making for a flexible club track that bends between scenes while injecting vibrant energy into the dancefloor.

Clubsonica Records rounds out the month of April by welcoming Tomas Briski to the label for his debut EP. Hailing from the progressive house mecca of Argentina, Tomas began his musical journey at the tender age of 14. Born into a family of artists and inspired by the likes of Guy J, Jamie Stevens and Roy Rosenfeld, the Cordoba resident would find his footing quickly, signing his first project to Mango Alley's ‘Augmented 013' collection in March of 2024. Immediately regarded as one of his country's top progressive house prospects, Tomas would go on to sign releases with Analog Jungs Constellation Music, Praveen Achary's Juicebox Music and Nick Warren's The Soundgarden, in turn earning support from genre tastemakers Hernan Cattaneo and Sébastien Léger, amongst others. With 2025 being highlighted by a well received debut on Alex O'Rion's Solis Records, Tomas now adds Clubsonica to his resume with ‘Akosha | The Rest', alongside remixes from Analog Jungs and Tonaco.

The release concludes with Tonaco making his label debut with the lone interpretation of ‘The Rest'. Since first appearing in 2019 with an EP via Transensations, Brazilian artist Tonaco has enjoyed a steady rise within the global progressive house scene. Noted for his blend of powerful grooves, hypnotic rhythms and evocative melodies, the Tocantins resident has excelled at creating his own brand of progressive house, making him one of the most promising artists to emerge from Brazil across the last half decade. Juicebox Music, Mango Alley, Meanwhile, Vapour Recordings and WARPP have been vehicles for his creative swell in recent years, in turn earning support from progressive house tastemakers Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren. With 2024 being highlighted by a thunderous remix of 'Cressida' by Chaum and Hobin Rude for Juicebox Music, a track which peaked at #2 in Beatport's Progressive House chart, Tonaco continues on an upwards trajectory into 2025, adding Clubsonica to his resume with a powerful rendition of ‘The Rest'. Taking a modern approach, the Brazilian artist lightens the framework with plush kick drums, warm rhythmic pulses and spacious percussion. Hypnotic and energetic in equal measure, it's an evolving effects narrative which delights across the break, as billowed tones deliver anticipation, before melting down into a low-end lovers finale to round out the release on a groovy note.
