ANDROM returns to Krachtvoer, this time with his first full artist EP entitled 'Then is now'.

This EP kicks off with the title track; ‘Then Is Now’. Which combines heavy atmospheres with hard beats, working up to a massive acid lead in the climax. Followed by ’22:55’, it’s kick drum and synth lead tell a singular story of pure effective hammering.

ANDROM’s third track is ‘Artful’, a detailed heavy broken beat and four by four combo track, setting the stage for Forest People’s remix, shaking things up with it’s broken beat madness.

Exilles also joins the remix roster, with their version of ‘Then Is Now’, bringing a club friendly remix adding extra layers of melody to it. Final remixer is Unified Method, with a deep broken beat version of ‘Then Is Now’, rounding off a varied but intense EP.

Bimol is a electronic music band made up by the designer Donna Lace on vocals and the producer and promoter Theo Jah Leon. Their sound is a result of years of search, it’s concept and a journey where is reected the dynamism of the actual electronic and the tones that transport the listener to the golden age of classic melodies of the 90’s. Their live+hybrid it’s distinguish by a simple reason, it’s one of the few projects that dares to integrate live female vocals in techno. Hip and jumpy rhythms broad-back with introspective melodies and lyrics with a deep meaning. Residents of one of the most iconic electronic music clubs in Colombia, Baum has been the home that has hosted them for more than 3 years. Without a doubt it’s one of the projects that it’s focused on the growth of this culture in Colombia.

This is the year 2022, not 1942, and sadly the Ukrainians are facing something no people should. When this war broke out well over a month ago, I (MÆDON), started reaching out to artist friends asking if they were interested in contributing to a benefit comp for the Ukrainian’s. Many amazing artists joined and the result is a 15 track album filled with a dynamic range of sounds.

With this album, a new series on Sonic Groove is born, “Sonic Groove & Friends”. A series that myself, MÆDON, will be curating. Adam and I also want to thank each of the artists for contributing stellar tracks for this cause.

This album will not be a permanent fixture, so please download it now and know that your money will be donated to a German charity to benefit Ukrainians in this awful time. We will give an update in due time sharing which foundation we donate the money too. Please note, we will not be donating to a charity/foundation that funds weapons of war.
