05 My One Man Army

How’s a new start gonna change anything at all?
When our teammates are all flawed?
Like watching a timebomb count down.
Now who in their right mind would place a timebomb at the start?

It’s a similar routine. I think we watched too many foreign movies.

It’s a false start and the referee’s blind
Sure, blame it on the gunners’ poor  timing
The play-offs in an amateur game have seen better players paying attention
And mostly ‘cause of better preparation…

The last one to be picked for the team is now on steroids and Red Bull.
Like a madman slinging bull, as entertainment for morons.
I hope that no-one ever judges our team by its audience.


Foreign Movies

Last one standing at the scene of the crime
He’s eager to survive; got this look in his eyes…
Everybody’s looking at the bridges he burned
A dead end road paved into a U-turn

Finally he took a gamble and misspelled the word F.I.N.E (Fucked up, Insecure, Neurotic & Emotional.)
“All is bad, all gets worse” were no grammar mistakes
They were a conscious decision for an alternate take

His mind drew a blank, to be quite frank
He ran out of ideas, years before the end.

I don’t think that this is supposed to be the end
The world will stop when hate becomes a contraband
because we all need a little bit of hate to go along with our greed

He looked all too familiar

Is Leaving All That’s Left?

Everything he does is wrong but he doesn’t seem to care at all.
Because everyone he knew is gone.
He’s the epitome of alone, you would think he’s getting used to it
But every morning he looks at his left to find no-one there at all.

Every hour he is wondering why they left him behind.
Yeah, he’s aware he’s got a problem but not one we can’t overcome.

He needs a job, he’s quite aware, but who would hire such a mess?
Picks a number, waits in line.
He’s number 10.085.

It’s like the saddest song without a melody
There’s nothing left to hold on to
Waiting to come undone
There’s nowhere left to run
Is leaving really all that’s left to do?

He’s a loser.
He means well.
He’s heading straight for hell.
