Six Slim Phatty modules in a poly chain.

Crap playing while I was leaned over tweaking knobs in a rack (I don't yet have my controller set up for editing the phatty sounds).

No effects. Recorded directly into Audacity.

6 Voice Poly Phatty - Raw

Another demo of my 6 voice Moog Poly Phatty (6 slim phatty synth modules treated as a single synth)

Focus this time is more on the type of pad sounds I'm going for with this.

I still haven't experimented with things that are off the front panel (filter poles, for example), but it gives you a good idea of what it can do.

Effects:
- Just enough chorus to make it stereo (this deserves a nice analog chorus. Might need to get an old Roland)
- Simulated tape delay

No reverb or anything else. Most of the detuning, tails, and "cloud" are all from the poly phatty itself.

The pads in the last half or so (right after the keys sounds) are some of the types of sounds I was shooting for with all this.

A simple, two-chord, multi-tracked demo of the soon-to-be-released Prophet-6 synthesizer. All sounds were recorded directly into Pro Tools with no EQ or processing. Reverbs and delays are all Prophet-6.

In this mode the sound engine of the T8 is comparable with other non-velocity vintage synths - by triggering the T8 with an external midi controller at maximum velocity and maximizing the internal headroom and envelopes via the ENV PEAK section. 

This is a raw recording straight into DAW (digi002), no dynamic/frequency/fx treatments. consider mp3 too...
Examples are mainly percussive to hear the nice attack and the ballsier basic sound by more saturated VCA - enjoy & please leave a comment!

An incantation or enchantment is a charm or spell created using words. An incantation may take place during a ritual, either a hymn or prayer, and may invoke or praise a deity. This track was created using the Modal 008 synthesizer, external effects & drums were also used.

TEST TRANSMISSION: Poly61 - 2

A live test improvisation recorded in front of a 1982 Rhodes Chroma analog polysynth after finally springing into life during a particularly arduous debug session to determine the root cause of a failed auto-tuning system during major overhaul at Hideaway Studio. 

Easily one of my favourite vintage polysynths (even over Prophet 5 and OB-X) and one I consider to be extremely underrated - a complex and remarkably flexible 16 oscillator beast with a warm but biting character all of its own!!

A little demo of the Jupiter-4 that I put together in the first few minutes after powering it up (so please excuse the idiotic playing). Love that twinkly filter resonance. And the 'Voice' preset is just fantastic. Excessive reverb from Dynacord VRS-23, all sounds from the Jupiter-4.
