Live recording of one of my two sets at seekers x Faciendo’s weekender this winter. A special moment behind the booth of my favourite dance-(but-not-too-much)-floor, with great friends by my side and many familiar faces from here & abroad or lovely strangers in front of me. A recording can hardly translate the cosy atmosphere and the warm and round sound of this room, but here is a good memory to keep on the cloud! Sorry for the few dusty needles in the first hour.

Lawrence Asher is a Berlin-based DJ and upcoming producer from Guadeloupe. Although he spent his formative years in Paris where he fully integrated into urban clubbing culture and his current sound gears itself toward club oriented US house, his Caribbean childhood was rich with Jazz, Soul, Hip Hop Culture, and Reggae. Alongside playing in iconic venues such as Closer in Kiev, Concrete in Paris, Starlane in London, and Berlin’s renowned Hoppetosse, Lawrence Asher has held summer residencies at the culturally significant Club de Visionaire and shares line ups with the likes of Raresh, Dj Koolt, Christian AB, Dyed Soundorom, and Shonky.”

Raised in the spirit of collectives, Taiel has always stayed close to the pulse of the scene even while choosing to remain independent.
