Emerging Drum and Bass producer Gus started his journey in a small German town, driven by a passion for deep, immersive beats. Over the years, he has made his mark on Germany’s electronic music scene, performing at top festivals and renowned clubs like Weltspiele, Mauerpfeiffer, and Zeitbrei Festival.
Gus' signature sound blends minimalistic and atmospheric Drum and Bass with the raw energy of '90s Techstep, creating a unique sonic experience that captivates dance floors. With an instinct for the unexpected, he is always ready to drop the next unforeseen banger, keeping the crowd on their toes and the basslines rolling.

Ständig auf der Suche nach der perfekten Symbiose aus Beat und Bassline, spielt Moon-
addict einen Sound, der sich aufs Wesentliche konzentriert: Groove! Seine Fähigkeiten als Multiinstrumentalist erlauben es ihm, seine Beats sowohl in seinen Produktionen als auch bei DJ-Auftritten mit musikalischen Elementen zu verzieren. Tatsächlich wehrt er sich dagegen, sich auf ein einziges Subgenre von Drum & Bass reduzieren zu lassen, da er immer nach Möglichkeiten sucht, sich selbst und sein Publikum zu überraschen.
Als Mitglied des CLX-Kollektivs organisiert er in seiner Heimatstadt Hannover Drum &
Bass-Events, die sich selbst den Anspruch stellen das Genre in seiner ganzen Vielfalt ab-
zubilden und darüber hinaus Awareness und Repräsentanz zu fördern. Seit 2018 veröf-
fentlicht er Tracks auf internationalen Labels wie Grid Recordings UK, Diascope, Disso-
nace Audio, Play! Music und mehr.

Constantly searching for the perfect symbiosis of
beat and bassline, Moonaddict plays a sound that concentrates on the essentials: Groove! His multi instrumentalist background allows him to spice up his beats with highly musical elements both in his productions and DJ performances. In fact Moonaddict refuses to chain himself to a single sub-genre of Drum & Bass, as he is always on the lookout for ways to surprise himself and his audience. As a member of the CLX collective he organizes events providing authentic and diverse styles of Drum & Bass in his hometown Hanover. He has been releasing tracks as a producer since 2018 with appearences on labels like Grid Recordings UK, Diascope, Play! Music and more.

Hi my name is marlon. This is my mix for the 2025 Subset event at MÄX. Thanks to the organizers for this amazing opportunity.

About me: I started enjoying DNB in 2018 and fairly quickly got into DJ´ing. With being a DJ comes playing at events which in Munich (my hometown) is quite difficult since there aren't many. Taking things into my own hand I bought a sound system and a generator, got some friends together and had some amazing raves. After that I moved to Romania and more or less played for myself, until I found some brilliant people that enjoyed DNB just as much as I did. They had started this Festival called Forest Beats, on a private property in the Romanian mountains.  If you have the chance and like DNB as much as we do, give it a try.
