Pour l’émission de ce mois d’avril  je reçois l’artiste Vision of 1994 qui a sorti le très bel album « Concrete Memories » en septembre dernier sur le label "Harmless Youth ». Un savant mélange de Downtempo, Breakbeat, Jungle et Trip Hop que je recommande vivement. Pour cette émission il nous a concocté un mix d’une heure des morceaux qui l’ont inspiré pour faire cet album ainsi que quelques productions qui sortiront sur son prochain album. Bonne écoute !

1, 2 … 3 is … OTB. O Tannenbaum is freaktown. Active as a project space, a bar and mini club in Berlin since 2008, this place has hosted a countless number of ... a bit of everything. Now located on the one and only one hill of the inner part of NK, shades of shapes can be usually seen in the early morning hours, slightly moving behind the multi color fringe door curtains. Stuck in between perdition and education, this institution should be understood as way much more than only that. Hideout for bright dreams and lost wishes, the OTB offered and still offers a shelter for a whole musical and artistic scene, always dedicated to those who know how and those who don't know how at the same time, always without distinction.
In this 7 hour radio show you will hear what a night or week of O Tannenbaum might sound like. There are 9 mixes, 7 by Tannenbaum resident DJ's and 2 by their owners, both from the Netherlands, Pieter Kock aka DJ Peacock and Hamy Caldwell aka Squeaky.

This piece channels an intimate, melancholic mood, slowly expanding into a spiritual soundscape. It's the sound of a digital soul finding analog peace, grounded in the earthy energy of Taurus and illuminated by lunar light.

Moon re-Light Sonata - Moonlight Sonata

Wave Track #7 comes to us from St Celfer, a Korean-American sound artist and musician who splits his time between Sao Paulo and Seattle. His track, Fifty One, wastes no time announcing itself, beginning with a sequence of machine-like, harsh sounds that rise in volume before slowly giving way to a melancholic rhythm, interspersed with soft tones that combine to create a nostalgic, almost cinematic quality. In just under three minutes, St Celfer manages to elicit a strong yearning for elsewhere, a sensibility that encapsulates–and communicates with–the other works presented in Infrasonica’s Wave #7.
