Hamburg’s Enbeezee returns this April with a twelve-track various artist collection curated by Han Duo and Fluctuosa.
‘’After the rerelease of JGB’s Gyra EP and previous vinyl and digital releases, Enbeezee releases its first VA Compilation. Co-curated by Han Duo from Berlin/ Hamburg and Fluctuosa from Istanbul. This package is a wild combination of tracks from artists between Berlin, Istanbul, Brooklyn, Karlsruhe and Rio de Janeiro. The idea started in the half year, Vincent aka. Han Duo spent in Istanbul, where he met Dogukhan aka. Fluctuosa, who introduced him to the underground scene of the city. As Covid hit right after the stay in Istanbul, the Comp aims to share profits between all artists equally to support one another in the pandemic. Putting together such an international and decentralized curation tries to give a sense of international solidarity for artists in the underground music scene. The label share is also waved for this.’’
Across the twelve tracks the project shines light on a variety of styles and genres under the electronic music umbrella, such as glitched out IDM on cuts like JGB’s ‘Café Arabica’, Capgraz’ ‘Proxima 55’ and Fluctuosa’s ‘Usingtons’.
There’s also some more cinematic electronica sounds such as DJ Death’s ‘You Should Chill’ and Kuprion’s tripped out ‘Enter Taste’. Also on offer are some more straight 4/4 cuts like HV’s ethereal ‘Postoned’, Han Duo’s break-led ‘Honaki’ and Max In The World’s acid-tinged workout ‘Grounded On Earth’.

1, 2 … 3 is … OTB. O Tannenbaum is freaktown. Active as a project space, a bar and mini club in Berlin since 2008, this place has hosted a countless number of ... a bit of everything. Now located on the one and only one hill of the inner part of NK, shades of shapes can be usually seen in the early morning hours, slightly moving behind the multi color fringe door curtains. Stuck in between perdition and education, this institution should be understood as way much more than only that. Hideout for bright dreams and lost wishes, the OTB offered and still offers a shelter for a whole musical and artistic scene, always dedicated to those who know how and those who don't know how at the same time, always without distinction.
In this 7 hour radio show you will hear what a night or week of O Tannenbaum might sound like. There are 9 mixes, 7 by Tannenbaum resident DJ's and 2 by their owners, both from the Netherlands, Pieter Kock aka DJ Peacock and Hamy Caldwell aka Squeaky.

L'univers de Philipp Otterbach est un film en montage permanent. Chacune de ses sorties crée une certaine surprise tant son approche dépasse le strict cadre de la composition musicale. D'une complexité apparente mais délivrant immédiatement une grande cohérence et un charme mystérieux, sa production offre à voir à chaque sortie des fragments d'images, pièces ambient purement abstraites ou bien rythmiques, où les éclats sonores se répondent en écho. La puissance évocatrice de sa musique culmine très certainement avec ses deux dernières sorties, « Humans » sur Tour Messier, et « The Rest is Bliss » sur Knekelhuis, véritable puzzle sonore quelque part entre la musique d'ameublement pour galeries d'art désertes et guide imaginaire pour se perdre dans des serres luxuriantes. Nous avions convié l'an dernier la quasi-totalité des résidents du Salon des Amateurs à notre fête, Philipp Otterbach manquait pourtant à l'appel. Ce manque est désormais comblé, et on aurait du mal à vous cacher notre joie.

He´s djing under the alias Ahum since 1980. Somebody along the way gave him the name Klakke because he always wear that. 
In 1995 he started his first label Toothpick. 1997 he founded Kraak with some intervals active there upto 2015. 
Since 2016 he´s running Knotwilg which is the main focus. Not only as label but also as a kind of old-school mail-order.
Knotwilg records is a label that acts as a personal portal to accessible experimental music, independent of any particular movement or era. Releasing music and distributing like-minded artists in a contemporary
DIY style. Co-curating concerts, events and the annual Knotwilg festival.

The first in a series of various artists to be released by Details Sound - The Spirit Of The Age Vol. 1 is a personal attempt to represent "the spirit" of this moment, an eye on the sea, where the initial intention of powerful and dynamic body music is changing, leaving room for a more contemplative and reflective way of dancing, where large places give space to the little ones, taking back the original spirit of being together.


On the A side, Anatolian Weapons opens with A Series Of Changes - a progression of looped vocals and acidic basslines that culminate in a full, liberating rhythm. Following A Hand Modern Cage focuses on a more hypnotic and evocative soundtrack that can perfectly match an atmospheric opening.

On the flip Gamma Intel’s Note To My Love delivers a mix of broken and electro rhythms that are part of the artist signature sound, ending with an intricate weave of melodic basslines. The last track Dense And Ragged is signed by the renowned london-based duo Vactrol Park who set the mood for a distopyan trip in 2049.
