Galactic Funk co-founder Bertram lands on Dead Channel with his debut EP Kibra Cadena. Literally translated as ‘break chains’ in Aruban creole, and broadly referencing the breaking of colonial chains of imperial oppression, this six track EP of tense, brooding rhythms is driven and gritty. Spanning mutated psychedelic dub, Giallo-tinged cinematix, frenzied insidious acid, and methodically churning crispers, this stunning work is singular in its execution and focused in its vision. Visceral, heady, and relentless, this dark, genre-defying gem is a tour de force in sonic mastery.

Cold Expressions Stalker invites Barking [09.11.2022]

Let's listen to one of the most interesting records in our collection - a live act by the artist of the Arma label Evgeny Lavrinov going under the Golden Axe alias. 

A musical canvas comparable to a rock concert in a club damp with human sweat. This kind of music probably wouldn't be found in a music store a month after the release - collectors won't let it. Arrays of percussions and animated textures and pure electricity, in which the hand and the ears of a living person are felt, skillfully handling the 303rd. Slowly, aggressively, but not angrily, the absolute maximum performance with a minimum of means. 

The recording was made in Moscow's Mutabor some time ago and, like a favorite photocard, it takes its place in the Right FM mix catalog.

Массивы перкуссий и одушевлённые текстуры и чистое электричество, в котором слышится рука и чувствуются уши живого человека, умело обращающегося с 303-им. Медленно, напористо, но не сердито, абсолютный максимум при минимуме средств. 

Запись была сделана в московском Мутаборе некоторое время назад и, как любимая фотокарточка, занимает своё место в каталоге миксов Right FM.
