'Sombras' is an eight-piece album full of broken electronic textures and emotions. The album's sound shows a unique touch, emotional pads, and breakbeats critical elements. Santiago de Chile based producer RUSSELL shows us a futuristic proposal in the moment of releasing new material with no boundaries of sound. This release is a perfect example of his artistic vision, with a mixture of experimental electro sounds and thumping techno rhythms that carry a rare sense of frisky fluidity.

Antonio aka Raw Ambassador - Aquatica EP [AP004 / ZE003]

Pako Vega was born in Ceuta, the home of Calypso in the ancient Ogigia.

He's a curious mind, a fervent record collector, radio host and DJ for Edinburgh's community EH-FM where he's been running Sounds Of Ogigia since 2018. A monthly extravaganza for tormented souls.

In 2020 he founded the label of the same name, which focuses on evocative and ritualistic music leaning on the Greek gnosis.
In 2021 Pako started a residency at Sneaky Pete's (Edinburgh) where he curates "Aquelarre" a night spanning all sorts of experimental club sounds.

As opposed to established functional dance music Pako Vega aims for a more transcendental and explorative approach as a dj. His sets, although hard to define, are nothing short of psychedelic; anything from slow burned wonky beats, trippy avant-garde and trance inducing grooves to abrassive leftfield, heavy electro and intense minimal synths.

2020. osnovao je etiketu istog imena koja se fokusira na evokativnu i ritualističnu muziku, naginjući na grčku gnozu.
2021. Pako je začeo rezidenciju u Sneaky Pete's (Edinburg) gde kurira "Aquelarre", veče koje se raspinje preko svih vrsta eksperimentalnog klupskog zvuka.

Suprotstavljen uspostavljenoj funkcionalnoj dance muzici Pako cilja više na transcedentalni i istražiteljski pristup kao DJ. Njegovi setovi, iako ih je teško definisati, nisu uskraćeni psihodelije, svega od sporih čudnih ritmova, tripi avangardnog i trance gruva, te abrazivnog leftfielda, teškog elektra i intenzivnih minimalnih sintova.

"AMBIDEXTROUS. The electro-plasticky sculptural sonic opera that invites you in & out & in again. Presented in first-person, at other times in third but ALWAYS out-of-body. Like a beat up stroboscope slamming into a Walt Disney number, raggedy abstracted cartoonish characters are pumped, plumped & squashed into the adhoc scenery. A tree is now a paint tube or maybe a shoe horn but only because it has to be until it isn't, or maybe it never will be for you. Very filmy, sometimes flimsy and on occassion chunky; presenting to you, actual variety. Definitely not a tidy digital affair...you can hear the tape bias deep breathing & hasty splices popping with an immediacy that does not waste time to tinker. Shattered bronze becomes the glue, the glue becomes your dinner companion as well as the plate & window seat. Not unlike a Goldilocks and the Three Bears scenario, depending on your moody attention span, you may find certain characteristics to be too something or not enough something but perhaps just right. Open for interpretation & again for re-interpretation - this monument gives what you take."
